Thai Garden in downtown Keene is a culinary delight in Thai food. There are the usual staples, and then there are the more creative plates which make it special here. The roomy interior is beautifully decorated with authentic Southeast Asian art. Service was super friendly and attentive. The three of us enjoyed a variety of plates. For appetizers, we went with above-standard Crab Rangoon and the delicate Todman Pla. For the main, I had a wonderful plate of Beef Macadamia, while my friends had the Beef Grapow special and a ginormous Rama Garden which should last her for at least three meals. Portions overall are quite generous, and the pricing was better than expected also. Highly recommended.

This little gem is a casual place with very friendly service and delicious food. Our party of 5 shared many dishes, all were excellent. Pad thai was well-spiced and flavorful with plenty of perfectly-cooked shrimp and chicken. Thai spring rolls, pork dumplings, Golden Triangles, and chicken satay as shared appetizers were good. Tom kar gai was delicious, a good-sized bowl is enough to share. We also had Chicken Himmapan, Three Buddies, and fried rice, all were delicious. Pace of service was just right. Waitstaff were attentive, and our waiter was very friendly and engaging. This place is definitely a favorite when we visit Keene.

One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve been to! They were very mindful about making our food vegan. We had the Tempura with the peanut sauce, Drunken Noodle and the Spicy Bamboo with jasmine rice. For dessert we had the Fried Banana Rolls with Honey which was delicious!
Special mention for the hot sauce and chili flakes ❤️

The Force was strong with my recent takeout experience. From Thai Garden, I procured Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Vegetarian Pad Thai with Tofu, and Coconut Soup—each dish a testament to balance and mastery.
The staff, warm and welcoming, moved with the precision of Jedi Masters, ensuring my meal was prepared with astonishing speed. Swift and efficient, they were—perfect for one in need of sustenance without delay.
Ah, the Drunken Noodles—bold in flavor, rich in spice. The balance of tender chicken and crisp vegetables was harmonious, as if guided by the wisdom of the ancient Jedi. The Vegetarian Pad Thai, too, was a delight—its tofu seared to perfection, its sauce neither overwhelming nor timid, but walking the path of true balance. And then, the Coconut Soup—creamy, fragrant, a soothing presence in the Force, rounding out the meal with serenity.
Thai Garden remains a beacon of culinary excellence. For any seeker of authentic Thai flavors, I highly recommend this establishment. A true hidden gem, it is.

This place is busy on a Saturday for lunch!! Service is quick. Servers are attentive and kind. There is a large lunch menu that is reasonably priced. We ordered the Sumter rolls, pad prik king and drunken noodle. The food was good, came out piping hot, and was tasty. I always find it how interesting each dish can taste differently, depending on what Thai restaurant you go to. Our friends ordered the basil chicken and the mango curry, which they both enjoyed. They ordered the money bags as an appetizer, but found them to be very underwhelming.

The food is great, but what stands out most here is the top-notch hospitality! Every single person that comes through the door is treated like beloved family. This level of service is truly world class!

Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. And not just saying that as someone who travels extensively in Asia, I’m saying it in general and compared to other Thai spots on the mainland area. Bland, flavorless, zero spice. Is the flavor played down to appease local diners because everyone here seems to like this place but I wonder now if they’ve ever had actual good Thai food.
I ordered massaman curry, medium spicy, and my husband ordered drunken noodles, which had a spicy indicator of 3, highest on the menu. No spice at all, very little flavor in either. The curry was watery and the owner tried to tell me that’s how it is in the US compared to Thailand. Ummm, no. I’ve had wonderful curry in the US and in Thailand and never has it been this watery. I asked for some chilis to liven up both dishes and was given sambal or crushed red pepper (???). The mango sticky rice was good, however and the perfect portion for 2 to share. Service was fast and very friendly. But the food? That’s not decent Thai food. It’s bland, lacks any depth of flavor, not spicy. Saddened by another Keene restaurant who plays down the flavor.

I’ve been going to this place for years and I’ve never had a bad meal. They are incredibly nice kind caring and pay attention to details tonight. On my way home on a long ride from Rutland Massachusetts to Windsor Vermont. My wife made me stop by and my son was sick When I went in and ordered our food. The young man behind the counter noticed my son was sick and made sure that he had warm water with a lemon and a little bit of honey. It made my son‘s night. This place is top-notch and can’t say anything bad and I only want the best for this place so thank you Thai garden
