I got double salmon for my protein and the picture is how much salmon I was given. The portions are horrible for the price. I will not return. Sticking to pokehub.

First time here, came for a family birthday celebration. The server was helpful taking orders and helping with spice levels for everyone’s liking. We tried the wasabi dumplings, crispy garlic shrimp and red curry. Also had a bite of the papaya salad. Everything was tasty. Dumplings had just a little kick to them. I had the red curry at 2 chili level. It was just the right amount of spice for me.

For dinner I had some wonderful Boat Noodle Soup made with three kinds of beef. Fantastic Thai street food. The service is excellent. I’ve started going every week.

Regarding the food- I have had the drunken noodles from this establishment in the past. The sauce for the noodles was spicy but had an odd sweetness to it. The chicken was not very flavorful, and slightly dry. Today, I had the shrimps in a blanket. Though they were slightly more oily than expected, they were satisfying. This is a good spot to grab a quick bite; I’d recommend the appetizers over the entrees. The entrees are priced higher than the quality served.

Regarding the service and atmosphere- The waiter was very kind! Service was quick and attentive. The restaurant itself is quite dark on the inside. The interior is quite dull, and the music is on a radio station (so an ad will play from time to time). I’d recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in if possible.

Food is great, service can be a little slow but the staff are polite and the restaurant is clean and the seats are comfortable .Lunch specials are a little limited but the rest of the menu more than makes up for that.

I decided to visit Thai Ashburn, a restaurant I’d heard a lot about. Hoping to enjoy my favorite dish, shrimp fried rice, I walked in with a smile on my face and left with a big disappointment.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, the atmosphere seemed cozy, and the service, though not extraordinary, was acceptable. I placed my order for shrimp fried rice, a dish I’ve enjoyed many times before and for which I had high expectations. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when I finally opened my order at home.

To start, the portion of rice was quite small. But what really left me astounded was the number of shrimp in my dish: only three. Yes, just three measly shrimp in a dish for which I had paid $16. I felt disappointed and ripped off.

I understand that prices can vary and that some ingredients are more expensive than others, but paying $16 for such a small portion with so few shrimp seems exaggerated and out of place. I expected that for that price, the restaurant would be more generous with the shrimp, especially in a dish where they are the main attraction.

In conclusion, my experience at Thai Ashburn was a great disappointment. While the taste of the rice was acceptable, the number of shrimp and the portion size do not justify the price I paid. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this restaurant again or recommending it to my friends and family unless they improve the balance between portion size and price. The value they place on their orders should be reflected in more generous and adequate portions.

The taste of the Thai ice tea at a Thai restaurant is directly proportional to the taste of the food. The tea was smooth and delicious. My only complaint (with myself) was that I finished it too soon. We tried the red curry and basil fried chicken and chicken satay from the kids menu. I tried a bit of the satay and the peanut sauce. It was delicious. I cannot say if the food was authentic or not but it was a very memorable lunch. Looking forward to exploring more menu items.
