I went here after 8pm for a generous meal and, BOY, did I luck out! I ordered the special 2 piece fish and fries basket for 7.99 and a soda and a small order of onion rings. I was amazed at the number of onion rings in my bag, must have been 12 in there. The fish pieces were HUGE and I took a picture to show the size. I could only eat 1 piece and a few fries. I will enjoy the rest another day. The seasoning on the fish is crazy good. Other fast food places don’t come near it. I spent $16 total but it was really reasonable and I could have gotten a 3 meal out of everything if I had not been famished. FYI: This is a double drive through only location. No lobby or anything.

I couldn’t decide between the seafood basket or the wings. Went with the seafood basket with extra cocktail sauce (that good). Substituted the fries for tots. Always on point with serving freshly made food, never cold, always hot.

Apparently even if U order a combo such as Chicken tenders, onion rings, & a drink, if U don’t specifically say yourself U want a COMBO then they charge U 4 each individual item separately & it’s quite a bit more money. So they’re definitely NOT trying 2 save the customer a dime but more so trying 2 TAKE as many dimes as they can. SMH sad what some businesses will do these days just 2 get an extra $1 or $2

I’m mad I have to put one star to post. Cuz I wouldn’t give them a star PERIOD!! DON’T EVER GO THERE!! The worst customer service EVER!! A lady covered from head to toe in black wrap was mean and rude. Food was burnt and she wouldn’t correct my order. I asked for a seafood basket that comes with catfish filets and she gave me two burnt fish filets like they serve at McDonalds. She wouldn’t give me tarter sauce and charged me for them. Don’t tarter sauce come with fish?? She said the food wasn’t burnt, said that just how they cook it. She told me I would have to pay for another meal and she said I should have read the menu. I told her I asked her to make sure it was the catfish filets and she said yes. But it wasn’t. I told her that she knows God don’t like ugly and she said so! Wow!! I told her I wanted corporate and she told me just go to the website. I told her I’m giving u the worst review and she should b happy anyone buy from her. And I would ever buy from her again!! So I will make the extra trip and go back to the one on Linwood. So TO EVERYONE DON’T GO THERE!! Times r too hard to waste money with horrible businesses with horrible service and food. Burnt and taste Burnt. Cooking food in dirty old oil I love Texas Tom’s, just not the independence location!!

Independence, MO…was so glad you came back! Best tacos ever!!! HOWEVER, my last two visits I’ve noticed 50% less beef. They have tons of cheese, but please put the amount of beef that should be there. Its ridiculous and a slap to customers.
