We stopped into Texas Roadhouse and the place was absolutely packed and the wait was honestly longer than we expected for a Tuesday afternoon. The whole place felt a little chaotic with staff running around trying to keep up. To be honest we have had a few visits here in the past where the service was not the greatest so we were a little hesitant, but I had gift cards to use so we decided to come in anyway. The hostess suggested we could wait at the bar and grab a drink while we waited for our table. I normally do not like sitting at the bar but we just figured it would be better than standing around. The bartender Victoria was very friendly right away and helped us pick out our drinks. My husband got one of the five dollar pint specials and I tried the Jamaican Margarita which was really good. After talking with us for a minute she brought over some bread and asked if we wanted to try an appetizer while we waited. She suggested the ribs with fries covered in cheese and bacon so we figured why not, and they ended up being amazing. Between how friendly she was and how helpful she was with the suggestions we ended up just staying and eating at the bar instead of waiting for a table. She had a full bar and was clearly slammed making drinks and helping people but she still took a minute with everyone and kept checking in. We ended up sharing a steak and the kitchen deserves a lot of credit because it was cooked perfectly. Everything came out hot flavorful and exactly how we ordered it. This visit really turned our experience around and we will definitely be back.

Had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. The service was awesome and Kelsey and Damien took great care of me from start to finish. On top of that, they even gave me free steak knives, which was a really cool surprise. Food was solid as always and the staff made the experience even better. Definitely coming back.

The atmosphere was welcoming. We were sat right away. Waitress was training. They were both nice and pleasant. I just wish the waitress didn’t push the gift cards on us and then get visibly upset when we decided not to get one. Our meals… they forgot the mushrooms with my steak, never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks, and one meal was completely wrong!!! I did like the line dance that the staff does. Overall it was an average experience.

As a frequent regular and someone with over 20 years in food service, I have to say, the Marquette Texas Roadhouse consistently delivers an incredible dining experience. My go-to, the top sirloin cooked medium rare, is always perfection – juicy, tender, with beautiful sear marks and perfectly rested. Their fried catfish is a revelation; it’s the best I’ve had outside of the South or my own grandma’s kitchen – crispy outside and fluffy inside. My girlfriend and I always enjoy the delicious Cactus Blossom to start!
What truly stands out is the impeccable timing and well-trained staff. You guys seem to have your timing down to a science, and while most people don’t notice it, I do, and it’s perfect. Every visit confirms that everyone is excellent at their job, from the kitchen to the front of house. The host staff is particularly fantastic and welcoming, especially the skinny, flamboyant blonde boy – he’s an absolute doll and truly exceptional. The atmosphere is always fun and and energetic, and the birthday service is hilarious and a blast. We love watching the line dances too!
The mobile app is incredibly useful, especially being able to add our party to the waitlist on the way. While I haven’t tried takeout yet, given the consistent perfection of the food, I’m sure it’s just as great. This is hands down the best restaurant in Marquette, and you absolutely cannot beat the prices for a steak. It’s often cheaper to eat here than to cook a steak dinner at home! Keep up the amazing work, you guys are truly awesome.

The food was very good, and the customer service was great. Our steaks were cooked exactly to our liking. The staff worked well together, and the manager checked in with guests throughout our visit. Several team members also stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a really pleasant experience.

Food is very good. We ordered sirloin steaks with onions and mushrooms. Steaks were very good and cooked perfect but the onions and mushrooms are so salty we couldn’t eat them.

Great service and food. We arrived right at 3pm when they opened, there was no wait at all. I would suggest using the app to make a reservation at any other time, there could be a 2hr wait. I utilized the app my first visit and we had a wait of only a hour. I ordered the Filet Medallions with rice, green beans, and loaded mashed potatoes. I ordered my steak rare, and it was perfect. Texas Roadhouse is a wonderful addition to Marquette dining. You can see Lake Superior from the parking lot.

The bathroom was spacious and clean! It’s so busy for the first night open and yet the wait times were not obnoxious at all! The line dance was cute, they did it well! Our server was great and a manager came and ask how the food was!! This is the best place in town HANDS down. Best atmosphere in the UP.

Prime rib was pretty fatty. Sides came out cold. Rolls were good, server was good. Was our first time there so we got some free starter things which actually ended up being better than the main meal.
