We recently dined at Texas Roadhouse in York, PA, and I must say, the experience was exceptional! Our server, Kristy L, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness made us feel right at home. She offered great recommendations and ensured our drinks were always full.
The food was nothing short of fantastic! The hand-cut steaks were cooked to perfection, and the freshly baked bread with cinnamon butter is a must-try. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous.

Generally when we go there the food is pretty decent. This last time we went we had a reservation as it tends to get quite busy on the weekends. Waited an hour past our reservation time and were told multiple times that we would be next up after asking the hostess at the counter how much longer it would be. Eventually had to give up and go somewhere else for dinner as we had other obligations to tend to and didn’t have time to keep waiting on nothing. Love eating there and the food is good but when you’re forced to wait so long past your reserved time that you’re able to see multiple other people go in, eat and leave, it gets to he rather frustrating especially when you keep getting told that you’re going to be next up to get a table.

Not only was my food amazing, but my server was the star of the show. I am very particular about liking my meat cooked well done, and it was cooked perfectly tonight, whereas I may still see some pink in it at other restaurants. I ordered the steak fries along with my meal as well and the flavor exceeded my expectations. Our server, Olivia, gave us the best service I’ve ever experienced during our meal despite the busy day they had. She kept a warm smile the whole time and was very kindly accommodating. She kept our drinks full the entire time and made sure we never reached the end our rolls. Her beautiful service and character really tied together the whole experience!

This has been 2 visits in a row that my steak was not prepared per order. I do not send food back ever. They took my meal off the bill, But my family members did not want to enjoy their meals due to I would not reorder. I am old fashioned, I give 1 attempt regardless where I am dining.
I am not mad or upset. I still tipped very well. I am thinking this may be my last trip to Texas Roadhouse. We had a Heck of a run with perfect steaks for a long time. Thank you for all the great meals! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the staff.

We ate lunch here yesterday on valentine’s day. Our food was great, but we had also placed an order for takeout. The server had actually forgotten to place it, so we waited another additional 45 minutes for it to come after we were done eating. When we got home we realized it was missing one of the meal items (she brought it in a bag.) I guess I should’ve checked the bag before we left but we’ve always had such great experiences here so not sure what happened.

Well. I thought I’d order a medium rare steak expecting medium. But my goodness did they mess this up. I wanted the prime rib. Wanted to splurge after 50 hours in 100 degree heat this weak. I earned. Why the heck not. I got a well done prime rib and I haven’t been this disappointed since prom night. Ignoring the fact the 3 tables around us arrived after and got their food first, how to you get a well done prime rib when you order medium rare. Beyond disappointing. It’s a total gut punch. Our server was great (Emily) and immediately offered to remedy the steak. She was disgusted by the site of a prime rib in such poor form. She took our steak off the bill because I figured I’d be too full on the sides by the time a new steak was “cooked”. The service was fine and all the other food was good. But how do you constantly cook steak wrong.

Went to dinner tonight to try and celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had a group of 10 well apparently Texas Roadhouse changed something and they only serve parties of 8 and if you have a bigger party they just say over and over again that you have to sit at different tables, and no guarantees.
The manager Jessy something, kept sending one of her hostess over to explain to us about how they can’t guarantee we can sit us and basically telling us without telling us they didn’t want to, not once did the manager try to talk to us, then when I told the hostess don’t worry about it, the manager still decided to not say anything to me, and was hiding behind the other hostesses.
I figure Steven who owns this Texas Roadhouse would like to know that his managers don’t try to smooth things over with their customers and subtly tell a large party, no.
