The place was clean, and they gave a whole lot of chicken over the rice. So if you hungry it’s the place to go. Also, it’s right of the American River bike trail, so you can refuel your energy before getting back on the bike trail.

I paid 26.89 for the sesame chicken plate and a side of broccoli. It was the ABSOLUTELY worst meal I’ve had in years. The chicken was overcooked/very dry, the broccoli undercooked and the rice was sour. I told them and asked for a refund, was told no, I had already eaten some of it. If I’m going to pay $26 for a lunch meal, I have expectations. They failed in a huge way, I won’t go back again, what a shame.

My visit here was nice and quick and easy but it is under a new name now its Teriyaki Stop but still has great items but prices are slightly higher and items are sold separately or unless your getting something like a Daily Special no Teriyaki & Rice w/ Sushi.

We went for lunch today after my son’s jiu jitsu tournament. The service was the absolute best service I’ve had in a VERY long time. The food was fresh and so good, portions were great. Wish I took a pic. Yummy

I was served a rancid spicy tuna roll that had probably gone bad. They said “it may have been out a couple days,” NOT A GOOD SIGN. I strongly recommend to not eat here! Even the tempura was a deep fried and soaking mess. (Tempura is supposed to be lightly fried) Here’s a picture for reference. This place doesn’t care about quality or flavor in any way. 98% of the food we got ended up in the trash and we still paid close to full price.

Large portions. Good atmosphere. I usually get the #1 chicken teriyaki, the meat is great. Although they did away with the original Sriracha sauce, so disappointing and they have now replaced it with a generic option that doesn’t taste as good. Sauce can definitely make or break your food. I personally didn’t like the new taste, I’ll dine in only if they bring it back to their tables from now on. That was the main reason I went there. Minus 2 stars for the sauce being replaced. Edit: Apparently there’s a sauce shortage lol, I’ll give one star back for that. Still hope to see it back once the shortage ends.

Huge portion sizes! I’ve never been left hungry after a hearty lunch at Teriyaki Stop. They have many options here for meat on their teriyaki plates, and they do also serve sushi – although I have not tried it. Try their classic chicken teriyaki, Thai chicken, or their well portioned salmon if you’re looking for a special treat.
