Patio seating is nice, inside is clean but a bit cluttered. Overall it’s got a very casual vibe so maybe not important business lunch but great midweek option for takeaway in a bustling area of Folsom.
– Sesame chicken plate: the chicken katsu was good! It was crispy, the meat was juicy, and well seasoned. I shared the meal with my kid and couldn’t finished as there was lots of chicken pieces.
– Honey spicy chicken plate: the chicken pieces were tasty! I could tasted the smokiness from the grill. The meat was juicy and the honey glazed was so good (it was slightly spicy). Hubby finished the rice and there were still lots of chicken pieces left.
I ate til I could take another bite & I still had enough for another meal.

My wife was craving tempura and this restaurant was recommended by Google Maps. She enjoyed the Tempura Combination Plate very much and said 4.5 stars. My Chicken Teriyaki Plate was average (3 stars); some chicken pieces were scorched, the salad was nondescript and the dressing nearly tasteless.
Overall nice visit but wish there was great combos but it’s understandable that the prices of things are going up especially on fish and produce.
The prices of the meals are fairly cheap for most options with some of the other options being pretty expensive for the quality of the meal.
The meat portion of the meal was tasty but lacked any real flavor or spice besides a smokey girl flavor. The teriyaki sauce that comes supplied helped, but the honey and spice did not come through at all.
The salad was sad looking and not really a salad in my opinion, more of a garnishment. More lettuce would have been appreciated.
The rice was pretty terrible. It tasted very cheap and the farther you went down the more mushy it became. At the very bottom of the plate the rice was so mushy that it became a singular patty.
