This is a really nice quick spot for a reasonably priced lunch! Insanely fast service and generous portions. Chicken was really juicy! The sauce is super tasty, really liked that I could put on as little or as much as I want! Sorry for the weird pic I was too busy eating

Patio seating is nice, inside is clean but a bit cluttered. Overall it’s got a very casual vibe so maybe not important business lunch but great midweek option for takeaway in a bustling area of Folsom.

Probably the best teriyaki I ever had. Fresh tasting, char grilled flavor, and huge portions! Love it!

Hubby had lunch here with friend and was impressed so I had to try it too. The portion was very generous for the price.

– Sesame chicken plate: the chicken katsu was good! It was crispy, the meat was juicy, and well seasoned. I shared the meal with my kid and couldn’t finished as there was lots of chicken pieces.
– Honey spicy chicken plate: the chicken pieces were tasty! I could tasted the smokiness from the grill. The meat was juicy and the honey glazed was so good (it was slightly spicy). Hubby finished the rice and there were still lots of chicken pieces left.

The place was clean, and they gave a whole lot of chicken over the rice. So if you hungry it’s the place to go. Also, it’s right of the American River bike trail, so you can refuel your energy before getting back on the bike trail.

Menu photos posted above are old — prices have increased. Name seems to have changed also to Teriyaki Stop [see my photo].
My wife was craving tempura and this restaurant was recommended by Google Maps. She enjoyed the Tempura Combination Plate very much and said 4.5 stars. My Chicken Teriyaki Plate was average (3 stars); some chicken pieces were scorched, the salad was nondescript and the dressing nearly tasteless.

This place thinks that it’s okay to overfeed. The food was a spicy chicken and it was terrible and completely a salt mine of salt. I could have eaten 1/3 of this and been full. They could lower the price by half and serve half the amount of food. I won’t be back.

I paid 26.89 for the sesame chicken plate and a side of broccoli. It was the ABSOLUTELY worst meal I’ve had in years. The chicken was overcooked/very dry, the broccoli undercooked and the rice was sour. I told them and asked for a refund, was told no, I had already eaten some of it. If I’m going to pay $26 for a lunch meal, I have expectations. They failed in a huge way, I won’t go back again, what a shame.

My visit here was nice and quick and easy but it is under a new name now its Teriyaki Stop but still has great items but prices are slightly higher and items are sold separately or unless your getting something like a Daily Special no Teriyaki & Rice w/ Sushi.

Overall nice visit but wish there was great combos but it’s understandable that the prices of things are going up especially on fish and produce.

Overall the experience was enjoyable and the food was decent. I can recommend coming here for food if you are in the area.

The prices of the meals are fairly cheap for most options with some of the other options being pretty expensive for the quality of the meal.

The meat portion of the meal was tasty but lacked any real flavor or spice besides a smokey girl flavor. The teriyaki sauce that comes supplied helped, but the honey and spice did not come through at all.

The salad was sad looking and not really a salad in my opinion, more of a garnishment. More lettuce would have been appreciated.

The rice was pretty terrible. It tasted very cheap and the farther you went down the more mushy it became. At the very bottom of the plate the rice was so mushy that it became a singular patty.
