My visit here was really nice, I was sad that it was very slow for the business because unfortunately everyone small location is feeling the loss of daily income. The lady that helped me by taking my order was extremely pleasant and great to chat with while the husband was preparing the food for me.

I love this place and the food is so delicious, the restaurant is clean and the owners are super friendly, the food is so fresh and the portions are generous. We always stop in here every time we’re in the Seattle area. Don’t miss going to this place, you won’t be sorry!

Great place to eat if you are taking a test next door at the Prometric Testing Center.

Four of us stopped for dinner, and all ordered different things. Everyone was happy! Service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty!

BEST BROCOLLI BEEF IN THE WORLD! The brocolli beef is served piping hot on a cast iron skillet. It comes with two mounds of rice and a light salad with a really flavorful dressing. It’s a little pricey for lunch but worth it because of the large portions, enough for two.

Portions are huge, teriyaki flavor is wonderful. Fried rice just yum. My only sadness is with new owners (?) they cook the tofu differently. Love the old fried crispy outside melt in your mouth inside. The new is jus grilled to warmth. Not as much teriyaki flavor as in the past.

I used to come here a few days every week when I had work near Mountlake Terrace years ago after finding out that they moved from their previous Lynnwood location. My coworker and I were always greeted and served by a nice lady, and her husband was always the guy cooking. They had and still have the excellent spicy chicken and mushroom, and they used to bring it out sizzling on a hot iron skillet, but I don’t know if they do that anymore now. Everyone I saw inside was eating out of a takeout box, and I didn’t see plates anywhere. They used to give takeout boxes for dining-in only after 12pm, but I was there at 10am and didn’t see any plates or platters. The lady at the counter wasn’t the nice lady who used to take our orders, and the cook wasn’t even Asian, as is the case in the vast majority of restaurants now, even in $300-for-two ones, so I’m not sure what happened there. Maybe new ownership, or they decided to hire employees instead of cooking and working themselves. The dish was still good, but wasn’t the same as the dish I had a few years ago. It’s too far away from my home and work to stop by now, so this was the only time I’ve stopped by in years. You’ll definitely enjoy the food if you visit after the previous owners stopped cooking it themselves, but if you went there often a few years ago, the food won’t be the same. Still worth eating it, as the portions are huge and the prices have only risen by a dollar or so instead of $3-$6 like other places. Every dish is about $15.99, but they have a whiteboard with current chef’s specials, and those are $12.99. I only noticed after I already placed the order sadly. I’d recommend you take a look at the whiteboard. Overall, I was very satisfied still

Large portions, crispy katsu, juicy pork and perfectly grilled short ribs heaped with large portions of rice, and Christian rock what’s not to like? Praise Jesus. Amen.

Daily specials are posted inside. Big portions. Incredibly nice owners. Easy to place and pick up to-go orders. My only complaint is a minor one with the fried rice. It has too big a variety of vegetables in it. Broccoli, corn, lima beans, bean sprouts, green beans, carrots, and peas. Some people probably love that but I have to remind myself there is broccoli lurking beneath the rice, waiting to kill me.
