The atmosphere of this restaurant is great, it’s a little get away from home. There is a large selection of entrees and appetizers. Their signature guacamole is a must try and love the fact that you can witness the server making the food in front of you on a small push out cart.

This was our second visit. Everything was delicious, once again! Starting with the 3 sauces that come with the tortilla chips, they are all so yummy!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Every single thing here was excellent! The food, the service, the atmosphere. Service was so good and so friendly made us feel welcomed. We had so many things to eat! Chicken tortilla soup, outstanding! Corn De La Calle, outstanding! Guacamole, outstanding! Street burrito, outstanding! Carne Asada tacos, outstanding! Fajitas, outstanding! Churros, outstanding! I can give Tequila’s my highest possible recommendation! Looking forward to going back soon.

This is the closest Mexican restaurant for us, and we’re fortunate it’s also one of the best we’ve experienced in Greater Boston. We’ve both eaten in and had takeout; this most recent experience was takeout while friends visited. All four of us were pleasantly surprised. We expected it to be good, but it was genuinely great. Well seasoned dishes, the refried beans and rice were delicious and had great texture, the meat in the various dishes was tender, and items that were fried tasted crisp and surprisingly light. Our past experiences dining in were good, but this was even better.

We have been here 2 times within the last couple months (mostly because of convenience). Both times we got only 3 shells with the fajitas, one time being take out so we didn’t have the ability to ask for more. With the increase in prices you would think they could provide more shells and quite frankly better quality food. Next time we will defiantly go to herradura vieja where the food quality is significantly better and prices are much more reasonable

Really loved it here. Already making plans to return. I enjoyed a jalapeño pear margarita and the most amazing bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. My husband enjoyed chicken fajitas. I would love to try the fried ice cream at one point

Excellent menu. It’s almost hard to decide what you want to eat. The Table side guacamole is a favorite (maybe one of the best around). It’s hard to pick a favorite from the menu because every time you try something different, it becomes a new favorite! The fajitas are one of our favorites. They are loaded with flavor from their “secret marinade”(I want that recipe!), the good sized portions are enough that you won’t walk away hungry (two can split an order, but you won’t want to). If You love Tacos, then you can’t go wrong with their Street style tacos. There are twelve different selections to choose from, all amazing, with the Maui Tacos being a personal favorite. The marinated grilled Chicken, pineapple pico, mixed with the melted jack cheese, caramelized onions, chipotle crema & queso fresco gives them an amazing sweet and savory flavor that just works.

There are so many Mexican restaurants in the area but none of them are as good as tequilas. The service is ninja-like. You want for nothing. The chips come with three types of salsa(the green one is my favorite). My wife always gets the chimichanga with the shredded beef. Delicious. Last time I went I had the bacon shrimp tacos. I told everyone that I knew how much I enjoyed them.

We got Sopes Jalisco with chorizo to start, then for lunch we got the Carnitas plate, chicken tamale a la carte, and the Mexi Cobb salad. Plus you get chips and salsa when you sit down. The restaurant was quiet and well decorated. Staff was friendly, food came out quickly. The Sopes were good, the chorizo was mild but it was tasty. My tamale was AWESOME, light and good corn flavor with lots of chicken. Definitely my fave. Cobb salad was great, there was a TON of chicken and the dressing was delicious. The carnitas was ok but I prefer it to be griddled crispy (which is traditionally how its done) and it was stew-like and not what I’m used to. But there was a LOT of it, so we were full!!! It would be nice to have a choice of salsas, and maybe hot sauce on the tables.
