The service was excellent. Nice visit over lunch with loved ones we don’t get to see often. Everyone’s food was good. Love the cabbage salsa. Our four entrees: taco salad, burrito verde, a chile relleno (crispy), and a chile relleno (soft).

Went into Tequilas to grab some takeout tonight. I have been waiting to try it for quite some time now. When I arrived it was very busy. Typical Mexican restaurant decor and vibe when you walk in. When you first look at the menu, you may be intimidated by the sheer size of it. They have a ton of things to choose from. I decided on just trying a couple of classic dishes. The fajitas Cancun and some Enchiladas. The fajitas Cancun are a mixture of steak, shrimp, and chicken, sautéed with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and pineapple served I side of a pineapple. The mixture is seasoned pretty well. Packed with flavor. They do one of the things I hate most… serving shrimp with the tail on. I don’t get that. It’s so annoying. They also did not give me any tortillas for the fajitas, so that was also a little unfortunate. The beans are a little bland and under seasoned pinto beans. There is nothing to remember either good or bad. Surprisingly, the rice was EXTREMELY flavorful! It was very good. Some of the best I’ve had!! The Enchiladas honestly taste about as good as they looked… meh.. everything was bland and lacked flavor. The ground beef filling was greasy and bland, and the sauce was boring and bland. It comes with refried beans and rice. The rice!! *chefs kiss** Overall, the food was ok.. the fajitas warrant another chance, so I might be back if I’m feeling a little risky!

Service was horrible and so was the food. Very bland and no flavor. 7 of us went got smashed into a booth. It was my daughters birthday and it was a horrible experience. If i could give all zeros I would. Save your money and go somewhere else. For the cost i expected so much better!! Lesson learned and won’t be back. and will definitely tell people.

Awesome place to visit for some great Mexican food and drinks! I started off with the Jalapeño margarita made with mezcal instead of tequila and it did not disappoint. The margarita was BIG!!! They have an excellent selection of tequila as well as some mezcal. I also had some queso dip for an app which was also very good. For main course I had the Tacos Al Pastor which were amazing. They were served with rice and beans, and I got a side of their hottest sauce to put on the tacos as well. Someone else in my party ordered a quesadilla and another person ordered the tortilla soup. Everyone loved what they ordered. The waiter we had was very nice and friendly, and was great with recommendations. Atmosphere was nice and overall I definitely recommend this place. They have a large menu with plenty of selections to choose from.

My 80 y.o. Aunt loves this place! My entire family loves it, but considering how often we eat there, the food is consistently good, but the customer service just continues to decline….. which for me is very disappointing, to the point, it’s beginning not to matter how delicious the food is, the horrible service makes me not want to drive from Denver to Thornton just to take her there to eat! It’s the little things that are forgotten, or just WRONG that are starting to infuriate me! My Dad ALWAYS order a beer & water NO ICE. Of course, there was ice in his water. My Aunt wanted a margarita, the server, wish I knew his name; we’ve had him SEVERAL times, and his service is iffy at best, he asked her, small, medium, or large. She asked for medium, they brought out a huge margarita, and she was charged for a JUMBO one! I always order a side of jalapeños, they were forgotten and make it to me until 1/2 way through my meal and we NEVER got a refill of salsa that we asked for TWICE.

Food was good and the drinks were strong. Prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that the check was brought to us pretty early, making us feel rushed, even though there were plenty of tables available.
