The food is outta this world. Everything is authentic and shipped fresh from Ethiopia. There’s no menu and only 3 tables and a seating bar. Didn’t bother me, because the food was SO GOOD! The owner was amazingly kind. I wanted to pay 3x what our bill came out to. Incredibly cheap, good, and heartfelt. If I lived in the area, I would eat here at least once a week. Cmon! This spot is golden. Do yourself a spicy favor and try it.

what a terrific first meal in the US! we’re staying at one of the nearby airport hotels and after a long flight it was nice to take a short walk here and find this tiny market with spices and dry pulses for sale, but also she has a small dining area to serve beef stew or ground beef (kitfo)…she made it for me without too much mit’mita chili and I got it a little bit cooked. so nice, and I enjoyed talking with her other customers who all seem to be a community of regulars here. it comes with a nice injera bread and I smell coffee roasting in back.

I have never had Ethiopian food before in my life. I came here and was warmly greeted by wonderful loving people who answered any question I had. To the owner, I appreciate how graciously you treated me today. I wish you the best in the future.

We tried to go here for dinner. There were many boxes all over the floor, the tables were an afterthought in a tiny room, there was no menu, and all three items he told us about were beef. It was a very strange experience. We left and went to Enatye.

It’s more of a market than a restaurant. Very tiny dining space.

The vegetable platter is delicious! I was so glad to have found this place. Due to high cholesterol, am on a restricted diet and was just running out of things that I want to eat, then I found Tensu. I am a regular now, come 3 to 4 times a month. Very good price too.
