Went here for a family dinner and overall it was a good experience. The wait staff were so nice and the food came out in an okay amount of time, the complimentary chips and salsa always help.
TACOS MECHADOS
Braised short rib, pickled cabbage, avocado, crema fresca, pico de gallo, flour tortilla. Flavorful and generously filled. The short rib was tender and the toppings added a nice balance.
BIRRIA TACOS
Beef birria on crisp grilled tortillas with grilled corn, onion, shredded cheese, radish, cilantro. The flavors were bold, but they were a little too salty for my liking. The rice and beans that came with it were amazing though. The Mexican rice was honestly the best I have ever had.
SHRIMP CEVICHE
Made with cucumber, tomato, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, avocado, yucca crisp. Fresh and bright, but definitely could have used more shrimp. It felt a little too heavy on the vegetables.
Despite a few things I would tweak, it was a nice night overall. The staff made the experience warm and the portions were generous.

Came here a couple of times and was amazing not sure why today was just not good at all starting with the drinks, I didn’t drink it and ended up just having water, the Beria tacos was soggy including the steak as well did not look like they just cooked it. Food came out in like 5 minutes, raised my suspicion. Felt rushed to leave after paying (had high hopes cause last time we came it was really good)

But the food was not, We order a Birria Taco and on the first bite we found a piece of cardboard box (We ate halve of the piece showing at the pic.) and the chicken in the quesadilla was not fresh . The waitress was very diligent and apologized. The manager was something else, he didn’t looks worry about the situation. Just came to ask what we found in the food, say sorry and said that he will talk with the chef and That’s it. Mistakes happen and that it’s understandable but, when is not consideration from who supposed to take care of the business and client satisfaction is when you take know that is not a place to go with your family and friends.

Started out great. Got our chips and three different dips that were excellent. Drinks just as good. Then the food came! Chicken tacos! First of all the chicken looked like it was precooked days ago! No flavor at all and the corn taco shells were not cooked and soggy. Plus I think it was a jared dressing on top! The waitress was nice and I still tipped her 20% because none of it was her fault.

It was a late dinner, they close 11pm. The atmosphere was relaxing. The chips and salsa, guacamole, and the dipping sauces were good. The presentation was great but the food wasn’t my favorite. It didn’t taste fresh. We couldn’t even eat half of the food. Our server was attentive and courteous.

Visited Tamazcal Dedham recently and was really disappointed. It took 25 minutes just to get a Margarita drink, and when it finally arrived, it had no tequila flavor, no mix, and not even a lime. I asked for a replacement, and that took another 20 minutes—still no improvement in quality.
Service was very slow and inattentive, with no one checking in or acknowledging the delay. For a place that markets itself as upscale, the experience fell far short. Sadly, won’t be coming back unless there are major improvements.

I had a great experience at Temazcal Tequila Cantina. The vibe is really nice — lively but not too loud, and the decor feels upscale without being stuffy.
Our server was friendly and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the tacos and they were delicious — super fresh and full of flavor. We also shared guacamole and chips to start, which was a great choice.
I’d definitely come back. Perfect spot for a casual night out or a fun dinner with friends.

A Must-Try Culinary Gem at Temazcal Tequila Cantina restaurant!
As a regular at the mall for my weekly food shopping and errands, I often pass by Temazcal Tequila Cantina restaurant, but it was only recently that I decided to stop in for dinner. Let me tell you, the meal did not disappoint!
I opted for the fish taco meal, which offers both blackened and fried options. When I asked my fantastic waitress, Taylor, if I could have one of each, she happily checked with the chef, who graciously obliged! Kudos to both the chef and Taylor for their excellent service. Taylor’s recommendation of the fish taco meal was spot on. The tacos are generously sized, making the meal, which comes with rice and black beans, incredibly filling.
And for dessert? Taylor recommended their fried ice cream, a true blast from the past for me as I haven’t seen it on a menu in over 15 years! Naturally, I had to try it, and it was absolutely delicious.
I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu, especially if Taylor has more recommendations up her sleeve!
