We ate here twice during our stay in Clinton, IL for our anniversary. We had dinner then breakfast the next morning. Food was amazing and we absolutely loved our waitress the night we ate dinner. She was amazing! Our breakfast waitress was not as nice nor listened. We had hoped to get the same waitress but apparently set in the wrong area. The owners are very friendly and even take the time to ask all the guest if everything was great. Very friendly, great prices, most of the waitress smile and seem to enjoy their job. All the locals seemed very loyal and probably for a great reason. I highly recommend if you are in this area to eat here.

Can’t figure why this place has so many customers. The food is always overcooked, sometimes to the point that it becomes petrified. The bacon actually shatters and the biscuits and gravy are the absolute worst, dominated by the taste of flour.

We’re in town from Arizona for a family event and this restaurant was the closest option that wasn’t closed. Happy to say we weren’t disappointed. The food tasted good, super delicious sweet iced tea, and even better service. Our server was so kind, attentive, and proactively provided us everything she knew we’d need. The restaurant’s theme and menu items are super clever!!

Ate there 2 days in row. First time had shrimp was good hubby had pony shoe he loved it, child had hamburger & ate 2 he liked them so much. Second day our order didn’t get order in system &;had wait about 45 minutes to get our food. We had ribs& prime rib,it was good Waitress kept apologizing & tried to makeup by checking on us repeatedly. Would go back

It’s my birthday dinner Saturday the 12 I ordered a 20 dollar flies med rare. I got a rock hard sirloin. I sent ot back they cooked it right but it was shoe leather they tried to lie told me a fliet. Then they tried to make me pay for a 20 sirloin and repossessed it .so thank you for ruining my birthday dinner. This place is trash now that Trish isn’t managing it. I recommend not going. And if you have my review removed my son has it on camera and I have the receipt I will post it weekly

My husband and I had dinner here. I enjoy the 60s music in background. The diner its very appealing to the eye. I did like the salmon was very tasty. My husband’s steak was decent. Our waitress was a bit slow ,but we weren’t in a hurry.
