First time eating here. Service was very slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Food was decent, and those that had steak in my party said it was very good. But the value was not great, and they do not have a lot of options for kids. The cost and value of items like a salad bar, where they only allow one visit, and some menu items were not very big. Overall, the food was good.

The food is good, the server was really nice. Having said that, it is probably the slowest food prep ever! It really shouldn’t take 1 hour and 45 minutes between ordering and getting your meal.

I’m from out of town and ate here this past weekend with family. Small town feel and menu. The meal came with a salad from the salad bar, which honestly, if made right, could be the meal compared to what we ate. I ordered an 8oz ribeye 6 oz salmon combo with a baked potato. The food came out lukewarm, except the baked potato. The salmon was undercooked. My wife’s broccoli and cheese side was just slices of cheese melted over what looked like steamed broccoli. Her “smothered ” chicken was made with pack gravy (gravy made from packs of powder vs. a traditonal homemade roux) and canned mushrooms. (Yes, we can tell the difference) My mother-in-laws mac and cheese looked like Stouffer’s as well. Now, add the limited items on the salad bar and the moldy ceiling tiles, the overall dining experience was not the best. If you have a higher palate, avoid this establishment. But the locals love it!

I ate at Ted’s steakhouse for my grandmother’s repast me and a lot of my family It took a long time for the food to come out even with a large crowd and when our food did come out I had hamburger steak and gravy with wild rice It was cold or shall I say lukewarm but definitely not hot It was flavorful and I did just take the meal home the salad bar was nice and delicious The service could have been better there were three to four waitresses for about 40 people and we had a hard time getting refills in a long wait on our food and I wasn’t the only one who had lukewarm/cold gravy Don’t know if I’ll be returning unless it’s for a salad.

$10 for 6 shrimp. This should’ve been my first sign to run for the hills. Ordered a medium rare steak, it came well done. Was not busy in the restaurant and the waitress would barely keep our drinks refilled. Just disappointed in the service overall. Won’t be going back unfortunately.

It took 55 mins to get our food & people came in 20 mins after us & got their food quick…salad bar the lettuce was not pretty at all i understand about to go orders but shouldn’t had to wait that long with only 3 tables to wait on…

We arrived about 3 or 3:30. We figured we could eat before dinner rush. After waiting for 10 minutes to be seated we walked on in and found a table. Again we waited for someone to acknowledge us and come over, I had to ask if we could have a waitress or waiter take our order. When we finally got our food one of the ladies hamburger steak was burnt. After waiting for someone to check with our table I finally picked up her plate and headed towards the kitchen. This was a HORRIBLE place. After eating we headed up to the front. We had to ask for the bill. This was a very unpleasant experience. I truly don’t understand the other reviews. Sad part is we all have waited tables growing up do we always tip good. I don’t know why our service and food was so bad. We were visiting relatives in the area. We are from Sevierville Tennessee so we know what good service is.
