I just moved to STP, First time ordering a Torda de milanesa(chicken) at Tavial Grill. I did drive-thru and when I received my Torda and unwrapped, I was amazed how toasted the bread was and soft from inside. The chicken tastes good, not chewy. I would recommend Torda. I will definitely try this place again and order something different.

Payment: I read a lot of comments about people being overcharge (adding tip). My advice is to verify your amount before swiping your card. The lady handle me the machine to swipe my card and notice she selected 15% tip, I edited and changed. I paid about $15 for just a Torda might be a little more expensive for me but it was good. And everything is going up in price.

My daughter and I were from our of town and looking for something local we could try. This restaurant had great ratings on Google, so we decided to go for it. The food overall was pretty good.
However, I ordered fajita tacos and received ground beef instead. It looked like they looked and tasted like they took a hamburger and chopped it up, and threw it on the Tortillas. The cheese sauce tasted like it was straight from a can. The rice had a great flavor. And the Mexican cigars were yummy. It was a little pricey for the quality. Overall, I’m not sure if I would visit again.

I went through the drive through and ordered asada nacho fries, and a large horchata, came to about 20 dollars for the food and plus 4-5 dollars for the tip of nothing because when I got home and open my box of food, guess what …. I saw? fries and a small cup of hotsauce, no other condiments that would deem it “aside nacho fries” like how do you mess up making the order, when the restruant was not even busy. I am disappointed.

I ordered a steak burrito and it was huge for 12$. The chips were homemade i believe. I also had a chips and salsa for 5.25. Only problem is they give you a fast food size portion of sauce not salsa. Chips with no dip not very good. The hot sauce probably came from a bottle. 2.80 FOR A 12 OZ Fountain drink. The small drink and the sauce killed this place. Burrito 3.5 of 5 because it’s huge. 1 of 5 for price.

Had a great lunch here with tacos and chips and salsa. The food was excellent and very quick. The tacos tasted like tacos I get in Mexico. The staff working behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

This is one of those places that is a hidden gem. The guac was fresh and delicious, chips were homemade. I had the chicken Milanese torta and it was the best one I’ve ever had. I’m all about supporting mom and pop restaurants, and this one checks all the boxes! I can’t wait to try some of the other menu items.

Great authentic Mexican cuisine.
I had 5 tacos: 2 Lengua, 2 Cabesa and a Birria. The check was $24, and it seemed kinda steep for 5 tacos. But it was totally worth it. Decent size portions and delicious, the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in US. Quick and friendly service. If I was a local this little gem would be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Thank you very much !

This place is the best. Service is always top notch and the food is amazing (my fav is the burrito with birria, they always add chips and salsa to my bag which I love). Bonus points for the drive-thru option, it makes getting food after work or before a night-in so convenient.
