This is a great restaurant if you want to be in a brewery style restaurant. I love the fact that this is not a chain restaurant, but a local one. The atmosphere had a modern and lively feel while at the same time feeling very relaxed. It’s a casual restaurant where you would not need to dress up. The food was amazing. I had the Opa pizza with a gluten-free cauliflower crust. It was probably the best gluten-free pizza that I’ve ever had. If you’re in the area and you’re looking for something new, you definitely should check out this restaurant. I will be coming back the next time I’m in Duluth.

We visit Duluth about 2x per year. This was our first stop at Tavern on the Hill. We ordered 2 burgers, a cherry chicken wrap, and some pub pretzels. All the food was tasty. Burgers were standard pub fare. The wrap was filled with great fresh veggies. Service was also prompt and friendly.

We love the Tavern on the Hill. I eat here often and enjoy the food and the drinks. The bar is nice and the patio is amazing in the summer and even in the fall we enjoy sitting out! We have even dined here with a group of 12. The food and service are generally fast! We love the lavender martinis and order one almost every time we go. The appetizers are really good! There isn’t anything we don’t like here.

Food was good for the price. Sports bar styled atmosphere. Server was friendly! They sat us (a party of 12) at extremely short notice so we appreciate them being accommodating. Their drinks were strong and featured some local alcohols.

Great front end staff and the food is usually good. Every pizza I’ve had had been great, but all the other food can vary depending who’s in the kitchen. It’s never bad, they just forget about special requests sometimes.

The food and drinks are great. We have tried at least 10 fish fry in town. The fish basket is the best fish and chips in town by far. Cooked perfect with a light batter that taste like the beer it’s made with. The moonshines all taste like juice and are delicious
