The staff who took the order was friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a medium well burger that was charred/burnt and it was not edible. Cajun nachos and birria fries also pictured, overall disappointed. We were hoping to find a good new spot

We attended a very small wedding reception at Tavern Inn the Woods last weekend and it was very nice. The food was good, the private room was beautiful, the servers were professional, and the bar was fully stocked with a pleasant and competent bartender… and she made me a tasty ‘adult’ coffee, which I needed in the cold weather!

Been going here since we’ve moved to michaywe in 2019. It’s always been like rolling dice to see if the food is good or complete garbage. Just ordered take out. Taco salad with chili on the side, Cajun chicken Alfredo, and kids chicken tenders. Of course, can’t do chili on the side. That’s too hard to comprehend. Then they gave us coleslaw and tartar sauce apparently for the kids chicken tenders? And the chicken Alfredo pasta (which mind you it was $26) was the most bland basic homemade stuff you could ever make. I know they have a new chef like every three months because it’s so hard to get someone to make quality food apparently. I have no idea how this place stays open. Out of all the times we’ve eaten there, maybe 10% of the time it was decent. The rest it’s been horrendous. Place needs to do everyone a favor and just close down.

Have eaten at this restaurant many times after a round of golf and the food has always been good. Typically we order the spinach dip appetizer and then a pizza. The pizza has always been very good. Today the pizza was horrible. It had no taste and the crust was hard as a rock. It was as if it came out of a box from the frozen section at a grocery store. We mentioned it to our server and another person working there both said they were sorry. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to chose from as we will never eat at this restaurant again.

My family and I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The grilled chicken sandwich is great and the chicken was cooked perfectly. They also have a solid happy hour and separate bar seating if you prefer. Continues to be a great experience.

We been enjoying the Michaywe for over 25 years, every summer when we come up to the lake, going to Michaywe has been our tradition. We have always enjoyed the food and service with servers who remember you.
Unfortunately this was probably our last time dining there after the changes to the menu left many of us disappointed in our meals.
The salmon and steak were both tasty, but the side options were all extremely underwhelming. The white cheddar mac and cheese tasted like a box mix, kraft is actually better than what I ate! The brussels and bacon were flavorless, the baked potato appeared to have been microwaved or precooked and not very good. We ordered kids chicken tenders that came out very over done and burnt, however, upon our request, they did bring new ones that were cooked better.
The server, Carlie, was very friendly, but she was definitely overworked, covering the whole dining room herself, making our drinks herself at the bar, and was running around nonstop and didn’t refill any drinks- we had to flag her down.
Sad to say our Michaywe tradition is over and we’ll have to find a new Gaylord restaurant to frequent when we are here!

We’ve been coming here for a long time but just now getting around to a review. We have never really had bad meal and always have a good time. Waitstaff is always great and very cordial and friendly. We celebrated my wife’s birth day Friday with my daughter and the waitress was outstanding. Food was great, so good we came back for pizza the next evening. Highly recommended
