If I could give this place negative rating I would. If I could contribute to shutting this place down and not be a complete embarrassment to be called a Russian restaurant I would. From the very first second to the very last second of my experience with this place was horrible. I started with their website to see what the menu was. I chose the most expensive banquet for two, that is close to $250 per person with tax and tip based on the given menu on their website. I called and made reservations, the host who answered the phone asked for a $100 deposit, which I agreed. The host said that Saturday will be a busy night, so I expected lots of different parties at the restaurant. My reservation was for 7 pm on Saturday, July 15. We came there exactly on time, when we walked in to the restaurant, we came up to the hostess, who said that at 10 pm there is a show at the restaurant that we have to pay $35 per person up front. That was the first unpleasant experience. During the reservation, the host did not say anything about a show, and certainly that I have to pay extra for a show. I kindly smiled at the hostess and said fine, add it to my tab. She said no, that’s not how it works, you have to pay now, up front. Really? I just walked in and I already have to pay for something, what fine dining establishment does that to people? I took out $100 and gave it to her, she gave me change and proceeded to show us to our table. When we came up to the table it was empty. A few minutes later a waiter appears and looks surprised and says, oh we did not expect you here until 8 pm, I said no, our reservation was at 7 pm. He said no worries, we will serve everything expeditiously. As we set at our table waiting for the food to arrive, on the dance floor we noticed something being set up, and soon after it was announced that there is a WEDDING of complete strangers in the middle of the restaurant happening with other strangers trying to celebrate or have a good time. This was the other horrific thing, during the reservation the host did not say that we will be in the middle of the stranger’s wedding the whole night. It was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate. The wedding host and the guests as well as the wedding festivities were so loud, I could not hear the person I was with at the table. I came there to enjoy my time with the person that I came with, not be an unwilling witness to a strange wedding in the middle of the restaurant. Then the food started to arrive. To say the food was horrific is to stay nothing at all. First, the food was old, it was not fresh, the food was not the same as on the menu on their website, and most importantly there was not a single Russian dish presented in this banquet. The first thing they brought out was a fruit plate!!!! A FRUIT PLATE!!! Who services a fruit plate as the first course?!?!?! The fruits just set there all night waiting for us to finish the rest of the food. Fruit is dessert, isn’t it common knowledge? No, not for this place. Then they brought a cheese plate, a cheese plate? In a Russian restaurant, like they are French, the cheese was stale and cut up weeks ago. There was also hummus with chips on the table. Hummus?! It was one the most disgusting hummus I ever tasted. Why would a Russian restaurant serve hummus and chips? And this is for $250 per person. The salads were horrific, when I asked about olivie salad, the waiter said, it is not part of this banquet menu, when clearly on the website it is. And this all while the wedding is screaming in our ears and we can’t hear each other. The rest of the food was just as bad. They brough horrific shrimp tempura, horrific lamb, horrific fish. The food was terrible. The dessert was terrible. The only two dishes that were eatable were the marinated mushrooms and the tongue salad with tomatoes. I could write much more about this horror show, but there is a character limit here. BUYER BEWARE! HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! Complete rip off with horrible food, horrible service and horrible entertainment. So disappointing, words can’t even describe it.

I came in with my family for dinner. We even called before hand and asked if anything will be going on that night, they replied with “depending on how much everyone drinks”. Nobody mentioned a cover charge. When we got to our table this sign was on our table. With a table of 6 people we thought $35 for a show wasn’t bad since it said the charge will be charged to our bill (ONE BILL) Not one worker mentioned that they will charge $35 per person. It says to YOUR BILL! Half our table were little kiddos that were not paying attention and some even fell asleep. Once our bill came we were charged $35 per person (not per bill) plus the 18% mandatory tip on top of the show charge and not to our actual food bill (complete robbery). They charged us so much for something so worthless. The show was approximately 20 minutes and not worth the “show charge”. Also, their food is highly over priced for what it really is and the waiters push the most expensive meals on you like they’re lives depend on it. Also, the service was rather slow. We cancelled multiple drinks because after ordering half an hour passed and we didn’t receive our drinks. For two people I paid over $200 for something that can be made at home for $30. Upon seating us down we should have been notified for their cover charge.

I have so much to say but I’ll try to keep this short. I came here with my family from New York . I came here for the show paid $35 per person for the show. I was told that the show would be 45 min long, it wasn’t even a full 30 min. the food was DISGUSTING I don’t know how others are saying it was good. the service was slow . our drinks only came after 30 min. we canceled it and they didn’t . we ordered tea which tasted like chlorine. the show and music was so freaking cheap the style was so old, you shoes got stuck on the carpets. I understand the cabaret type of environment but this was completely insane. never changed never refreshed. I do not recommend this at all. We tried to have a good time but everything was horrible . I spent over $200 on something that was worth $30 . Not the food, not the music and not the show. Very sad.

We all had a great time at Tatyana’s. It started with Benjamin greeting us so warm, and friendly. Our server Dennis was also excellent, along with the rest of our servers. The entertainment was amazing, and the DJ was fabulous. Thanks again for everything.

Nice atmosphere. Perfect place for a date night. The food was ok, but the show was great. Be prepared to wait a while for the show to start, especially if it’s a number of people there celebrating their birthday. They call each individual up to sing happy birthday and take a picture with a cake. Nice gesture, but I think it can wait until after show. Once show is over, they break down set and you are welcome to dance the night away. Different experience. Wont be going back though unless the show is different, once you’ve seen the show it’s kind of pointless.

A very reliable place, if you’re looking For someone to ruin your evening or any special occasion this place will be more than happy To help. Bunch of thieves with no customer service and 0 appreciation for the few customers they still had. Turns out this place has new owners, I’m not a fan of giving bad reviews but this Restaurant does not deserve Anyone’s business. Check your receipts and make sure you get what you order. Got a pre fixed menu with 30% substituted and 50% missing. The food was Dry And disgusting. I would understand if the whole restaurant is full and they lost control in the kitchen,. There were 2 tables for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. Plus,. They have a special service where if you want to sit a little bit closer to the stage in an empty restaurant. You’ll be paying 30% more. When approached to the owner with this issue the owner himself and his wife were completely drunk.. Started yelling, impossible to speak to them being rude to 80 year olds. And even putting their hands and shoving their customers!. [ Even the music was way too old and from the soviet 70s, for the grandparents] And threatened to call the cops, but they wouldn’t because they have too much illegal nonsense happening there. The owner’s wife / manager , Has no place on the floor dealing with any customer.. She’s obnoxious she’s rude and tried having the bouncers illegally put their hands on people , but I’m glad the bouncer was professional and saw how She Was in wrong The whole time. Ben, one of the managers, only clear headed person who understood the situation and attempted to make everything right, but kept being held back by the drunk owners. Ben, deserves a better place to manage. This restaurant is a disgrace to the name to the Community.. What a name to ruin !! The crazy part is if you read all the other reviews that I just noticed. I guess they take pride in this nonsense. So many better places to celebrate and spend your money, who would appreciate your business, these people do not appreciate anything and feel they can save on food maybe they won’t notice attitude on you and add extra charges . And they do this shamelessly and knowingly!. Celebrate at your own risk here… p.s.., been here 20 years ago , same decor., don’t mind your feet sticking on the carpet towards the dance floor, it’s normal for a run down buisness. Thanks for ruining a special day for many people.

We came out of state for a birthday celebration, had an awful experience and we’re overcharged $400, did not realize it till after we paid, but called the restaurant right away, we were promised that our money will be refunded, but then the owner just ignored our phone calls and never returned any of them, no refund either, food and service were average. (From what I understood it’s under new ownership and indefinitely worse than it used to be.)
