This place is very lowkey and tucked away it seems, it was like finding a hidden gym. This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, good thing I live across the street love this place will be eating here very much whenever I have the chance and crazy thing is it’s really cheap too. Fantastic Tasty Wok god bless you, all your employees, and your families your great people with excellent skills in making great food. 10/10 I had the mandarin chicken wings with lo mein 10/10

Fried rice wasn’t fried much , but tasted great anyway. Sweat and sour sauce tasted like ketchup, still okay to eat.

Wow! First time visit and both my wife and are are impressed. Food was fresh, great flavor, some of the best chow mein and chicken my wife ever has had. I loved the kung pao trio. It was nice to have kung pao that had a good hot spice. Best we’ve ever had, seriously. Thank you to the chef.

Dare I say… the best Chinese food on the east side of Portland? Just go! I’ll post pics soon. Menu highlights are Szechuan Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Veggie Lo Mein, and the spring rolls (egg rolls)! The adjoining bar is also super cozy and the most friendly bartender.

This small spot in a strip mall is a hidden GEM!
The interior was sparkling clean and fresh.
We were seated quickly. The menu has the usual options found in American Chinese places with a handful of dim sum as well. We ordered the Green Bean Beef and Hunan Chicken with Black Bean sauce.
The food arrived fast and piping hot. Both the chicken and the beef were tender and well seasoned. The spicy Hunan sauce was just right-flavorful and tingly with out overwhelming the other flavors. The vegetables were cut fresh and cooked just tender-crisp. The green beans were especially nice with a good sear while not being soggy. Nothing was overly salty.
The portions were generous with out being gratuitously large. The prices were reasonable and, considering the high quality meal, a great value.
We enjoyed our meals very much and plan to come back soon. I am looking forward to trying the Singapore rice noodles.

I wasn’t sure that I was going to be filled, but that’s not a concern here! My plate was probably 10 or 12 inches in diameter and completely full of food! I ordered the number one combination dinner and I highly recommend it! It also tasted really good and feels like quality food as it’s still sitting well with my stomach a couple hours later

I’ve been searching for a good Chinese restaurant since moving to Portland two years ago. I finally found it, and it’s 5 minutes from my place! The service here is deeply attentive, and the food is made with fresh ingredients. The sesame balls and steamed pork Bao are lovely. The chicken lo mein had perfectly cooked chicken and noodles that were just the right texture. The sweet and sour sauce is a perfect balance of sweet without being too cloying. I highly recommend this place!

I stumbled across Tasty Wok online and decided to try it. Glad I did. The food was indeed tasty. It was reasonable and plentiful. I will go back. I had chicken sub gum chow mein, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and fried shrimp which is more like a tempura shrimp. Very good.
