The only reason I gave this place three stars instead of four was because they had a very poor selection of beer and bourbon. It looked like most of the taps were not working and they didn’t have a Sam Boston or a Heineken. I ended up getting a Corona light. Light beers aren’t my thing so I ended up switching to Maker’s Mark rocks. Other than a poor beer selection the place is very nicely decorated and the lady who waited on me could not have been nicer. I’ve had the pizza there in the past and I found it to be very nice. I’ve also had the meatballs and they were awesome! The burgers are also good. I know it’s tough for businesses to keep inventory on hand given the situation with the pandemic so I will definitely go back to JW‘s again. On this particular Sunday around two in the afternoon I was the only customer in the place. No place is making money that way. If you live in the area I suggest you support this local establishment.

Went there last night with some friends after a hockey game.

Clean, good waiters, fun environment with a dance salon featuring live music.

However, the food was subpar. I asked for a veal parm (for $20) and it came with the bottom side burnt to a crisp.

Although the French fries were cooked well for a delivery order, my burger looked fine until I realized the skin was charred and the inside was totally pink/red. I understand the middle being pink but it reaches to the skin and I’m sure that’s considered raw or undercooked.

To get a table it took forever. Literally we arrived at 8pm and left pass 10pm. The food was OK. Definitely not worth the wait though. The staff was trying to be attentive but the were so busy that they failed on that as well. There was a good very loud band. Completely unable to speak. I probably would have chosen another night to come. Great place for seniors though. They were having a blast with the 60s 70s songs.

Family planned a 50th Birthday and because of an electrical outage needed to change the venue with only a few hours notice. Owner of JW’s was gracious enough to accommodate us. The food was very good. The service was outstanding. Staff went above and beyond. The function room was set up lovely with a separate bar from the restaurant. Would highly recommend the restaurant. Many thanks! The night could have been disastrous but because everyone went above and beyond, we had a great night. Can’t thank you enough. Peg Riley

Went there with my boyfriend last week and it was awful. They should have never re opened or they should have took more time to fix what needed to be fixed. My eggplant tasted like someone poured windex on it. It was very conserving to say the least. Then when our pastas arrived they looked worst than a Marie calendars microwave meal. Not one seasoning to be seen. After two bites both of us got massively sick and almost threw up in the restaurant. I’m not sure if it was our eggplant app that tasted of chemicals or the less than dog food worthy pasta. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I’m thankful for our server she was nice and helpful that was the only good part of the night.

Venue & food were Absolutely Fantastic and Delicious! Chef & Bartender were Great! Waitress could have been more attentive & the Function Hall Manager, unfortunately did Not give her 100% towards this time from Day 1!

They need to bring it back to a family pizza parlor. The prices are to high for poor quality food. The Olive garden has better food and they are family orient. I was an ok place in till 2017. So I was not surprised to hear in a few days you will be closing the doors. You also should have not stopped the live music it was a big reason people came

I’m updating my review because of new ownership and new menu – this place has always been nice, but now the new owner is taking it to a higher level. Had one of the best, and most creative, tuna tartars last night, served with a chewy farro and dressed with a spicy red pepper sauce. My spouse had a pepper crusted tuna steak, red rare throughout and on a bed of corn relish. Looking forward to trying their other items.
