Great variety of dishes. I love that they ask your spiciness preference. Hint: zero means zero and dishes with zero were really bland. I don’t like my food hot at all and 3 to 4 was very good for me.
Decor is really nice with brick walls and a nice patio. Service was very slow for the place being not busy at all. Plenty of parking on the front and back street.

Lamb or veggie it was all delicious and beautiful restaurant. Sizes you can share or keep for yourself appetizers are larger as well. Spice level is 1-10 I had 5 and it was perfect.

Have been here four times after the San Diego Zoo and the food never disappoints. The Himalayan seasonings are amazing. They listen to me when I say “make it a 10 spice!” Just go.

First and foremost the price is decent, the portions could do better. I do agree that the curries were a tad bit sweet, but missing a few ingredients to give it that kick, the pakora was tasty. Wish there was more. The chicken butter Masala was very buttery and the chicken vindaloo was too sweet, wish they had more meat then sauce. The herbal Naan was so heavenly it fused and melted in your mouth with the savory and herbal mixture melting on your pallete. The service was great. Our server was nice and ensured we were well taken care of. If you are in yhe area I would recommend coming to five them a Try the aesthetic is very appealing

Fantastic food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and really friendly staff.

Honestly, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. I will definitely go back if in the area.

The photo might look a little misleading. It’s actually a pretty big portion. I had the samosas, some naan and the tikka masala. 10/10!

Great food – I had the vegetarian coconut curry and it was amazing!

The naan was hot and tasty and my boys all enjoyed their dishes from lamb korma to chicken tikki masala to butter chicken.

All dishes were fresh and hot and delicious!

This was about my 5th time coming here and I feel I have enough experience to right a review.

I must say the food is absolutely amazing it’s a simple menu with nothing out of its place. Super saucy, great flavor and just overall awesome! I enjoy the dishes they use to serve, too, nice touch. I have had all of the lamb curries, momos, naan, the pastry apetizers and of course the Chicken Tikka Masala. All pretty good, especially the naan (can’t go wrong with delicious bread) but the spice levels vary on the curry for sure. Tikka? Totally rock a 6. The Takari? 4 is plenty thank you. Definetly worth a visit for the food.

The service is where it lacks. Out of the 5 times, 2 were rough experiences, 1 was great and 2 were mediocre. Some servers don’t write the order down and have messed up the order a couple times and were just not the best people to interact with. Not to mention one of the experiences I had the server did not seem “fully aware” and even said he wouldn’t place the order a friend requested for whatever reason and argued with him about it until he complied. That was a one-off experience, however, and to me the food is worth coming back. Also, I’ve had good interactions, too, more than not. I recommend trying it out, love it and will come back often myself.

– $60 for two
– parking is average
– food is amazing
– service is better more often than not

Really bad service. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. Really frustrating experience when you are waiting with a toddler.

The momos were not edible. The chicken curry was tasteless and cold. So we waited a long time for really disappointing food. Maybe they were having a bad day in the kitchen but they could have given us a heads up.

They were preferring deliveries over customers in the restaurant so maybe avoid it for dine in.

We’ve dined here many times in the past but takeout was a letdown then and now again. Shrimp tika masala and the same with chicken. Ordered #2 spicey and prepared no spice….0. Received only 4 shrimp in curry …seriously! Skimpy on the chicken too!

We came in on a Friday night and it took quite a while to be served. But I understand that staffing issues are a challenge for everybody these days. And the servers that were there were very attentive when they could be and hopefully the food was fresh and yummy. It just took a long time to get and that’s the reason I gave them four stars. I ordered one of the appetizers. That’s in the picture which was a chicken vegetable dish and it was quite delicious.Although a little spicy for my taste and my dinner mates ordered the tiki masala and it was a very generous portion and also too spicy for my taste so I didn’t need much of that but I understand that it was quite delicious.
