Ordered the Stromboli on recommendation from a friend that knows its my favorite food and boy am I glad I listened. Where most places make them wide and completely overwhelmed with cheese, Taste of Italy makes them long and full of meat instead. It still definitely had enough cheese, but not a ridiculous amount to fill it so they could put less meat in it. It was crispy and warm, very delicious and even reasonably priced. The owner, I assume, did my pickup transaction and was very happy to see me, great personality and I loved the general vibe of the restaurant. Will definitely be back for another, especially now that I know I can customize it.

This place is a hidden gem, I highly recommend. Food was amazing, steaks were very juicy and cooked to perfection. The shrimp was flavorful and yummy, Vegetables were tasty and cooked to perfect texture. The salad was fresh, the grilled chicken was delicious, and the ranch was homemade! The staff is welcoming, and the man who served us (I think the owner?) was very attentive, hardworking, and seemed to be very helpful while his staff was busy with big tables. Bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. Must try!!

Our family is so thankful to have a restaurant like Taste of Italy in our community. We enjoy their good food and their friendly staff. We are grateful that they are open on Sundays, when most small town restaurants are not open. It is one of our favorite places to go enjoy a meal.

We got there near 3 pm for lunch. Not many people there. We both got the lunch spaghetti with meat sauce. The food came late, no problem. Salad was OK, the spaghetti came later, it was cold. Sent it back to be reheated. It came back, it was hot but it was nasty! The sauce was like runny, cheap canned dog food. We tried eat some but it was worse than it looked. Saw one table eating pizza but it didn’t look much better. Won’t eat that crap again!

Chicken wings were so dried out there was no chicken in them. Our pizza came out cold and was full of grease. The cooks are very loud but if you’re a regular you are used to it. We ate with family they also did not have the best food.

Ordered for extra sauce on a pizza and when I was already home I realized that it was made normally. Called and asked how much I was charged for the extra sauce and she said nothing, and that she didn’t check it before handing it off to me as I watched her do exactly that right before I paid
The two times I’ve ever eaten here or eaten from here everything tastes half assed and is overpriced.

I grabbed “to-go” here…I was hungry and it was fabulous so I only have one picture of food, lol. It was excellent. The Alfredo and mushrooms were exactly what was needed after my long day of work. I also had a couple salads and bread. The owner was super personable and didn’t make too much fun of my huge appetite. I would definitely stop here again when in town.

The good thing about this place was the waitstaff. There’s a ton of parking, it’s easy to get to.
Other than that, the food was…frozen food from anywhere else. The calamari was not very good, although I can’t say the fried ravioli was any better. I’ve never had fried ravioli plated with sauce on top, and it really made it soggy. I got chicken broccoli alfredo over linguine. The sauce was soupy and there was a hair in it I had to pick out. I know Yadkinville doesn’t have a lot of options and this is probably one out of necessity, however I can’t justify spending money here.

Stopped in for lunch and tried the half wraps. The Hero, Philly, and the Grilled Chicken. Each was very good and only $7.99 for the 3.
