The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. Portions were good and prices were reasonable. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.
Chicken 65 was so yummy with the side sauce. Husband ordered chicken jalfrezi and I had tikka masala for main … all delicious!
Would definitely return
For the main course, the Mysore masala dosa stood out as the best it was fully coated with spicy masala and perfectly balanced, not sweet at all. The chicken kothu parotta was absolutely delicious, packed with bold spices and textures. I also tried the classic parotta with a side of chicken Chettinadu curry, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was rich and satisfying.
To wrap up the meal, I had buttermilk, which came with refreshing ginger bits in every sip, and a glass of rose milk that instantly took me back to my childhood days.
Every dish I tried was full of flavor and definitely a place I’d love to visit again!
Seemed to be freshly made ,spice just right,
Flavour just right ,
The king prawns were fat
And smashing
The Lamb pepper curry laced with black pepper was so south indian that I thought I was back in Bangalore. All in all one of the best South indian eating establishments in Glasgow
So this is a Friday night around 6.30 and the place has only one other paying customer, we had the restaurant to ourselves, that was just amazing for as it was a birthday treat by my wife
Advice to the manager , hope you don’t mind me saying, drop the old whiney indian music and get some contemporary indian music thru the speakers , also the staff , all the staff were men .
How about some pretty south indian girls as waiters too with highly coloured Kurtas, ,,,,, smiling girls
Led candles on the tables
Dim the main lights down
down
Lighting creates an atmosphere just by itself
How about a happy hour a discounted period of time
What about a man on the door inviting passing footfall to the culinary delights of South india
Inundate social media with pics
Get all your staff to like and add to social media
Now one small complaint the draught beer I watched the waiter pour the beer into the glass , he constantly shook the glass as it filled up , it looked good as it was placed in front of my , but went flat very quickly
quickly……. get training on how to pour a proper pint , that’s a skill in itself
Adjust the gas so that it’s more aireated
Amazing food
