My first time here, first impressions were good. I came in before the dinner hour so it was not busy and hostess let me select my table. The food was flavorful and I really like the salsa. The only downside was the food was not very hot. More like warm. Not sure if my waiter did not pick up my food timely or they just serve warm food. I love the look with all the bright colors.

A sports bar grill should have ok food and was pleased with the results. First off our waitress was really good at explaining the specials and taking our order. She returned several times checking on our drinks etc, very good service. My wife ordered the cod fish and fries. The cod was plentiful but tasteless as it seemed to be just frozen and fried up. We did get tartar sauce which livened the taste a bit. The French fries were fresh but not much taste. I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger, it was surprisingly good, a little zing to it was unexpected but the burger was cooked well and very tasty. They do have military discounts 10%. The atmosphere is your average sports bar but more televisions than I have ever seen and every sport you wanted to watch. I would go back again but not to order the cod fish. We heard they have really good sandwiches so will have to visit again. Additionally this place is dimly lit and not much noise as some sports bars visited which was nice. Prices were good and saw people of all ages there 6 years old to 70.

Food was alright. It’s what you would expect from bar food. I got the spicy blue cheese burger and my son got the chicken tenders. Both were fine. However, the wait for our food was quite lengthy, around 50 minutes maybe an hour. There is only 2 waitresses (at least when I was there) and there were a decent amount of other people so I do understand. Overall decent. Probably not the place to bring your whole family. But if you’re just looking to grab a quick bite or a drink. Definitely the place to go.

We had probably ly one of the best cooked, best flavored burgers ever. The service was great. The food came out super hot, surprisingly their shrimp basket is very good as well. We had both sweet potato frys and regular fry and they were both great, perfectly cooked as well. The atmosphere is lively sports bar style with a quieter area to eat as well as pool tables and other games to play tons of TVs around to watch. Way more than your standard sports bar with amazing food and great service.

I’ve been coming here on a yearly basis for a special event, but this was the first time I tried their breakfast tacos, and I was super impressed! They were so good, I will definitely get them again. The other food I’ve tried is ok too, but the tacos really stood out.

This was my husband and my first dinner out, since we moved to Tucson. We had our granddaughter this week, as well. I looked online to find us a close place to have dinner. We’ve never been to a Famous Sam’s so, we figured, let’s go check it out. We had no idea, that it was in fact, a sports bar. This absolutely lovely young lady, named Angelica was our server. I was hesitant to think we’d get good service, because the place was packed, even for a Thursday night. Angelica was AMAZING!! I don’t know that we’ve ever had such great service, in such a crowded restaurant. This young lady did not miss a beat!! Seriously, couldn’t have been more impressed, after a lifetime of working in the business myself, for over 40 years. Then, come to find, she just recently started there. OUTSTANDING JOB, ANGELICA!!! Thank you for your INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! ❣️ Thee establishment should be honored to have you in their employment!!

I was blocked from their Facebook page because most recently I commented on their Wing Tuesday post via Facebook.
I expressed my disappointment with a recent purchase of their wings-2 orders a $30 value. Basically what I stated was, “A couple Sundays ago I purchased 2 orders of wings to go. I requested the wings be cooked longer than they typically cook them for a more crispy taste. Whoever the cook was that Sunday evening ignored my request and not only that both orders of wings were undercooked. Shortly after I contacted the manager who told me he was also the owner. He was beyond rude towards me about the matter. Furthermore, while I’ve been coming here for many years… the 28 years I’ve lived here in Tucson & have enjoyed their food countless times. Sadly in the recent year the quality of their food, the quality of their customer service, & some other things have decreased dramatically.”
I was hoping the right person in position would reach out to me on their Facebook page to address my concerns. Instead whoever manages their social media presence blocked me like a child lol. A clear statement Famous Sams doesn’t take their customers concerns serious. A clear fundamental definition of unprofessionalism & immaturity within ownership, management, & staff. Sad, simply sad & I couldn’t be anymore disappointed & not valued as a long time customer.

I just want to give a huge shout-out to my server Yesina. She is a top tier server, making sure we were happy and taken care of.. I’ve never had such great service in this bar before as I did tonight. The care and compassion was incredible!!
