Delicious German cuisine in an informal setting. My sauerbraten was tasty (could have been slightly more sour to get really authentic) and the red cabbage and bread dumplings were perfect. The apple strudel was “right” which is a difficult thing to find in the U.S. but could have used more breadcrumbs and, perhaps, a more robust pastry because it was soggy. Nonetheless, I loved it.

We went here for the first time. We love small independent restaurants that serve delicious, authentic dishes. My husband had the pork cordon Blu with sauted spaetzle and mushroom gravy. He loved it! I had the special which was the German meatloaf, chicken schnitzel, garlic mash potatoes, red cabbage sauerkraut and bacon gravy. It was wonderfully delicious and had such unique flavors that melded together. The German beers went so well with both of these dishes. We will be returning hopefully soon.

Nicely decorated and clean restaurant. The staff was friendly and explained the menu in detail to help us decide what to order.

Phenomenal atmosphere! Live German music, great beer, hearty German food! This is a great place to just enjoy with anyone! Seating is limited and first come first serve, and the hours are extremely unusual. But if you manage to snag a seat, it is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!

First time visiting, and it did not disappoint. Had the veal schnitzel “Rham” (cream sauce) and it is something I would definitely get again. Looking around the room during our visit, I saw a number of other dishes I would like to try next. Don’t take my word for it though, put this place on your list and give it a try.

Wow wow wow! Went here 2 days in a row, couldn’t get enough. Service was great. Flavor was out of this world! Cancel all plans and go here immediately. Bavarian schnitzel and roasted rosemary potatoes, did I mention the bacon gravy?? Say less.

To put it simply, this restaurant is nothing short of impressive. Had dinner there and the experience was great. Showed up at 7:35 pm on a Saturday and we were walking back to the car at 8:25 completely satisfied and the restaurant closed at 8:30. We even had appetizers. We even asked to sit outside and they had no issues accommodating us. The manager checked on us while we ate and was a very professional, personable and friendly. The food is top notch. I stopped eating because I couldn’t eat more. Don’t plan on taking home leftovers. The sauces 100%, the schnitzel 100%, the spaetzle 150%. The soup of the day was asparagus soup and it was amazing. You could have given it to a child that doesn’t like vegetables and they would have drank it. The goulash had so many levels and depths of flavor I couldn’t even start go analyze what flavors went into it. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting German food and to those wanting food and haven’t had German food before. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

I went there with my significant other and sat outside while it was a perfect 70 degrees, so we each tried a different soup and they were amazing. Extremely flavorful. The schnitzel was also some of the best I’ve had in the Tampa Bay area

Fantastic food and service. Having just been to Germany last year I can tell you, this is the real stuff. The Veal Schnitzel is moist and tasty. The sauerkraut is warm and delicious. Definitely going on the rotation of restaurants to visit again.
