Went with my family and enjoyed the offerings of Taste of Berlin. I don’t recall the names of everything but it was delicious and there was a gentleman there playing traditional German music which they sometimes have on Friday nights. I don’t believe most drinks had refills other than water but otherwise everything was very good. We were a party of four but they were able to accommodate a large party as it appeared a birthday with about 10 guests were there as well. It’s not a very large space so I would recommend calling ahead for a larger group. Parking lot is shared with two other resturant spaces but there was also parking behind the building as well with a sidewalk that goes around the building. Handicap spaces are available but limited.

Great German restaurant! I haven’t been to many authentic German restaurants but this one is. The food was fantastic and our waitress was very nice. The owner came over to make sure everything was good. First time having spaetzle and I loved it. I also loved the dumplings and thought the mushroom gravy was delicious. The star of the experience was definitely the Apple Strudel, that was amazing.

The people here are very friendly and I appreciate there quick service. I love the way the restaurant looks and feels too. The music is not over powering either. When the food was delivered it looked amazing. I love the salad with their homemade dressing. Unfortunately both my husband and I didn’t care for our Maine meals. I even tried his food and I didn’t like it. I appreciate how prompt they were with the check when we asked for it.

To put it simply, this restaurant is nothing short of impressive. Had dinner there and the experience was great. Showed up at 7:35 pm on a Saturday and we were walking back to the car at 8:25 completely satisfied and the restaurant closed at 8:30. We even had appetizers. We even asked to sit outside and they had no issues accommodating us. The manager checked on us while we ate and was a very professional, personable and friendly. The food is top notch. I stopped eating because I couldn’t eat more. Don’t plan on taking home leftovers. The sauces 100%, the schnitzel 100%, the spaetzle 150%. The soup of the day was asparagus soup and it was amazing. You could have given it to a child that doesn’t like vegetables and they would have drank it. The goulash had so many levels and depths of flavor I couldn’t even start go analyze what flavors went into it. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting German food and to those wanting food and haven’t had German food before. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall German restaurant. The food is good, just wish they had more entree options instead of just wurst and schnitzel (which at least was fried well). The spaetzle was also just ok, but tasted pre-packaged instead of the fresh-made like I’m used to. I loved that they offered Radlers though! The pflaumenkuchen (plum cake) was good, though definitely Americanized (Germans make theirs less sweet). While I give it three stars, my brother loves this place and would give it higher marks.

Amazing experience. Best German food we’ve had since Bodensee at Helen. My schnitzel was amazing Wonderful service. The potato sauerkraut soup was wonderful. Veal, pork and sausage meals primarily. We tried the apple strudel, German chocolate cake and plum cake. We loved them all as well.
