It’s no longer called Taste of Bae. It’s under new ownership and the new name is Sheila B’s. There’s a large bar area. Their Signature Drinks are really good and they have Taco Tuesdays. They have fantastic tacos in which they partner up with another restaurant Great partnership on Tuesdays.They also have a regular menu the rest of the week. Sundays they offer Brunch with mimosas. Up and coming Soul Food originated from Oakland, CA. I popped in while waiting for my kid at the barbershop. Food was cooked fast and served hot. The star of the show was the Mac and Cheese. The mimosa was bussin too.

We tried many items. A few items stood out. Their cheeseburger is really good. I couldn’t believe it was only $6. It rivals, if not beats any burger in the area. I can’t stress it enough…… Try it, try it, try it!!!! Mac n’ cheese definitely worth a try. The chicken wings have a nice crispy skin, with moist chicken, and topped with lemon pepper they’re pure magic!!!!!!

Great food, and friendly staff!!! The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. I had the shrimp and fries with a side of greens, and my other half had the 5 wing combo plate with yams and greens to go!! Sooo good! We will definitely be back.

There is little curb appeal here but once I opened the door I was very pleasantly surprised. A long inviting bar, tables to the side and a great welcome by staff! I ordered the fish dinner and it was plenty for two of us. I can honestly say it was the best fried fish I have ever had! Please make the trip to downtown Stockton and check out this friendly, locally-owned restaurant!

Just walked out of Taste of Bae and Bae does not disappoint! Had the fish burger and a side of greens that were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I will be back again and again. I plan on trying everything on the menu so I will be telling you all about it. Even the waitress was Sweet and professional too. Thank You Bae! My daughter.and I loved it!

Wow, this place is fire! We happened to be shopping and came across this restaurant in the food court. All of their food is good!! We ordered the fried fish, fried chicken, chicken tenders & fries, mac n cheese, candied yams, collard greens, and Kool aide. I felt like they were a little stingy with the sides. But overall the food was really good. We’ll definitely be back for more. Sorry, we didn’t take pics. The food was too good.
