We accidentally found this place on our way home from NYC and it’s a terrific place for lunch. We’ll definitely stop here again the soup was exceptional both the mushroom bisque and lentil soup. My husband had a burger which was cooked perfectly medium and I had the grandmas meatloaf sandwich that was delicious.

What a gem of a place – stopped here en route from NYC to northern PA after hiking in the nearby state park and had lunch on the porch. Fresh food, friendly service, old-school/folksy decor, and good prices. We’ll definitely stop here again!

Would consider giving it another try for lunch, maybe, but breakfast was not the right choice for us. Perhaps just try something besides the buttermilk pancakes which were like bricks and the “crispy” corned beef hash that someone in my party requested even extra crispier and it came out of the can, barely heated. Another guest in my party ordered the special pancakes and received a children’s size order of pancakes instead. Overall, it was kind of overpriced. When I pointed out that we were overcharged for something on the bill, it seemed the waitress (she was the only one) was too busy to deal with it. Soon after, she came back over and told me she couldn’t figure it out so she just took it off the bill….

I’m so happy we have this great little restaurant in town. The food is so good and consistent every time. Everything is so tasty. They also have meal items to go. I must say their homemade salads are delicious.

Found this place by accident. The food is amazing. Especially the turkey open face and mushroom soup. I camp locally and look forward to my visit almost every weekend. Portions are very fair and price as well. The younger girl waitress is so sweet. A must visit when in town. Makes you feel like your in Mayberry again. So relaxing you can even sit outside. .Thanks for a great place.

Love the atmosphere here with chalk board painted tables small neighborhood type of place. The food looks great but lil salt and pepper would really elevate it.

We visited on a late Sunday morning not sure what to expect. Taste is a former general store turned Cafe that pays homage to its previous life. It’s very cute. The food was fresh and well made. My daughter got the chicken and waffles. No store bought chicken here like you get Sr so many other places. My breakfast burrito was delicious- Fresh Pico de Gallo, eggs, sausage, peppers and onions all wrapped up in a tortilla. I added a side of hash browns which happily was not the frozen shredded potatoes. The Service despite t he fact they were busy didn’t suffer. We will be back.
