The first time I couldn’t get a picture… it was so good. I had to go back for the pineapple snapper (picture below). Oh wow I think this might be my weekend treat. My daughter absolutely loves the brown stew chicken and brown stew snapper. The service was fast. Food fresh. They had selfish fritters. Yummmmm go try anything I might be there as well.

I’ve been coming here since I was 18, back when it was in the shopping center next to Alko’s. That alone should tell you how real this place is to me.
The food is always on point.
• Curry chicken and jerk chicken never disappoint
• My daughter’s favorite: cow foot stew, spinach patty, and a side of brown stew chicken
• My personal favorite: the escovitch snapper always made perfectly
It’s always a hit, never a miss. The juices are refreshing every single time, and to finish it off, you can’t go wrong with rum cake or sweet potato pudding.
Those are just my favorites though honestly, everything here is top notch. This place is my comfort zone, the spot I come to when I need to shake off the blues of life.
Highly recommended. Always.

Never disappointed when I visit Tashes for Jamaican food. I find them reasonably priced for delectable food and quantity. Service reps are always accommodating and pleasant. Thank you!

Hey, what happened to the guy that used to cook in the back with the real big pot with the real big hat?? I hope the food still taste the same. I see a lot of reviews saying it taste different since you relocated I went to Anegeda delights in Columbia, Maryland their oxtails were so tough!!!. I felt like a dog ripping meat off a bone, no gravy, just dry. There are no good Jamaican spots in Columbia MD so I surely hope Tasha’s still has the best Caribbean food around?

The new location has dine in seating. The food is good but the level of seasoning varies and sometimes can have too much pepper. The sorrel drink is always a good choice. The rotis are large and well stuffed. The porridge of the day is always on point. The ackee and saltfish with a fried dumpling is a must.

The food was soooooo DRY and NASTY …. Drove from Essex to Owings Mills (28 miles ea way) to get oxtails and the food was sooooo disappointing… u guys have lost a customer…. $25 a plate for takeout and the food was trash…. The rice is definitely 2-3 days old and the oxtail sizes are SUPER SMALL…. If I lived close I would bring it back to get my money back …. NEVER AGAIN

I am a bit disappointed as I recommended here to a good friend and we got there and our orders was wrong at purchase. The last time I purchase food there and ask for plantains they said it would be extra money. I said okay and paid got home and there was no plantains on my meal! I visited there this weekend with a friend to get dinner and was disappointed. Our orders wasn’t wasnt understood apparently and items was missing. I immediately spoke with the young lady about my observation. I learnt from her that the meal is a type of meat and 2 sides didnt know this prior at the counter. We paid $24.00 for each meal and one didnt have rice and one didnt have plantains. We spent an extra 20.00 to obtain the missing items with even mention the prior issue of missing item. I do believe we explained whatbwe wanted and was very respectful at the register upon ordering. Just disappointed by the error an no understandingof our order which cost us more in the end because their was no service of correction. Food is good yes but service is everything! Please be mindful of the service staff and customers check your food before you leave and make sure you have everything you asked for on your order. Please explain what you want for your meal properly to the staff. Also know know its meat and 2 sides is an order and rice isn’t included in the meal its considered a side too.Check food before you leave out! Bless Up

Tashes Ankh is a hidden gem! A cute spot with stylish decor both inside and out—it really gives you that authentic island vibe. I came in for the oxtail platter and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The oxtails were tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.
The platter came with rice and peas and cabbage, both of which were delicious and complemented the dish well. I added plantains for an extra charge, and they were definitely worth it—sweet, golden, and the perfect finishing touch to the meal.
If you’re in the area and craving some solid Jamaican food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!

They aren’t organized nor do they understand customer service. I’ve ordered online, arrived 30 mins later for pickup, they still hadn’t started the order. The lady in the back was asked to start my order but she looked confused. The cashier was busy holding a conversation with a customer who had already received their food. I got fed up and got a refund. That was months ago, so my husband tried again today. There was only one customer there. My husband couldn’t place his order because she and the guy behind the counter were discussing food he allowed her to taste test. Meanwhile my husband continued standing there for nearly 5 minutes without acknowledgement. Another missed opportunity because he walked out. Ordered from Myrie’s instead. Better service and good food! Would’ve gone to IQ but parking lot was too crowded. Anyway, not sure if there will be a 3rd visit to Tashes Ankh.

Talk about clean, great flavor and outstanding presentation! That what I get when I order from the best Caribbean spot in Maryland. Thanks for taking the Caribbean flavors across the sea. It felt like home in every bite I had ☺️
