Do not sleep on this place. It’s half a mile down the road from me. It’s been here for some time and I made the mistake of not trying it sooner. I had the beef fajita torta, it’s amazing. The fajita and cheese pupusa was so good. And the street tacos were great. If you live in Deer Park, you need to stop by at this little bitty place that you would normally just pass by.

My wife and I stopped by here on a Friday afternoon about 2:30 PM. It is a rather unassuming little strip center and we’ve passed by it dozens of times. For some reason, it caught our attention this time and we thought we would give it a shot. It is a combination of Mexican food and El Salvador food. I got the beef mini tacos and my wife got a pupusa. The mini tacos were hot, tender and delicious. The waitress asked me if I wanted some hot sauce which I find is very rare for the Houston area. She brought me a bottle of red sauce that had real nice heat to it And a bottle of green sauce which was tomatillo based and had some really nice flavors to it. The pupusa is a thicker soft corn tortilla with your choice of ingredients on it. The waitress brings out a bottle of sauce that goes with that one item and this is the first time we’ve had this type of thing and it was really good. We want to try more of the items on the pupusa list. I came back the following day and got a Mangonada. This item is served in a cup. It is frozen and icy. You have to let it thaw out for 15 or 20 minutes and then eat it with a spoon and it’s kind of like a snow cone. I thought it would be more savory, but to my surprise, it was quite sweet and enjoyable. The dining room was clean, the server was very helpful and ready to explain our questions about items on the menu we did not understand. The food is made all fresh in house. They are not open on Sundays. The next time we are in Deer Park, we are looking forward to stopping by and trying their breakfast and having lunch, trying more of their menu items. This is a little hidden gym, although it is hidden right there on Center Street. Don’t pass this place by, go in and give it a try. It is definitely worth a stop.

Delicious custom made breakfast tacos. I left my purse behind and didn’t notice until later in the day, after they were closed. The staff went above and beyond to meet me after hours to get my purse back to me, completely safe and sound. Highly recommend!

I was welcomed very kindly here and the restaurant is very clean inside . I didn’t realize they have Salvadorian food, which is an added bonus for me! I ordered the breakfast with fried plantains, eggs, beans, cheese, crema. I was soooo thrilled to see that the corn tortillas were home made too. I’m only disappointed that I waited so long to try this place out. The spinach pupusa was really good too!!

The 5 chicken tacos were really good. Chicken was soft and delicious. But the corn tamal was rip off. 2 something for a tamal that looks like a small egg roll. Como que no.
