Just ate there for the first time today…Amazing!!!! Tacos are hands down our families favorite food…and we critique every last element of each taco…we tried the beef fajita, pastor, and chorizo…all were exceptional! The flour tortillas were the perfect thickness and texture, the meat was so nice and crispy while still being tender…and PLENTIFUL…they do not skimp on the amount of protein they give you at all, the onions were there but not overwhelming, and they keep their sauce cold. The perfect combination of flavor, texture and temperature. My daughter and I were also impressed by how clean the sauce bottles were, typically you see the drips and dried layer of sauce in the cap…not here…it looks like they clean them before each customer. The staff was so friendly and made you feel like a guest, not just a number.
Taqueria Vilchis, I believe you just earned your place in our family’s hearts and stomachs top ranked tacos! My husband and daughter are already planning on going back for dinner!

45 minutes for four tacos! Never again.
Excellent food all around, ample seating with extra room in back, but service is sloooooow. Even when only at half capacity, kitchen very unorganized and confused. No working restroom for customers during recent visit.
Suggest finding better options elsewhere.

The breakfast plate is delicious. Homemade everything, including homemade corn and flour tortillas. The breakfast potatoes, eggs in ranchero sauce and the beans were excellent. They were busy but quickly acknowledged me and handed me my to go order. It was ready within minutes.

I came here because they had machetes on the menu. You just don’t see that very often.
The place was very busy with lots of people coming in and out. It’s a small place so there’s not a lot of seating inside other than about 10 tables.
I just have to say that the machete was under-seasoned. we went with the pollo it just needed a little more seasoning. I’ve got the salsas they serve with it were also lacking salt. Also, try to bacon breakfast taco because the bacon looked crispy. My main thought is that they must’ve been out of salt the day I came because somebody doesn’t know how to use a salt shaker around here. Just my opinion. They seem to have lots of business and people seem to like the place.
I’m just looking for a place that serves a really good machete. I did not find it here.

hidden gem, tiny up front but had a large dining room it seemed in the back. very authentic, but they speak english for the rest of us! homemade tortillas, great breakfast tacos. want to come back and try more food, and start to frequent for breakfast tacos. service is a little slow but not for lack of hustling- they are very busy. i see there is an online ordering system so maybe that is best for next time.

This has become my go to Taco place for Street Tacos. The Al Pastor and Carnitas are exellent. I don’t typically eat rice, their mexi rice is really good. I also recco the refried beans. Breakfast tacos are really good, but not a fan of their Chorizo Tacos. It has a weird fragrant flavor. Otherwise I’d have given them 5 stars.

Don’t let the “service station taco” location throw you off. This place has good food. My daughter, who doesn’t usually want Mexican food enjoyed the torta so much she’s actually asked to go back. I’ve been here multiple times since moving to Houston about a year ago and have never been disappointed in the food. Yeah, service can be a bit on the slow side sometimes but, hey, slow down and relax.

We were a party of 3. The only thing I didn’t like was going up to the counter to order first. The menu is on the counter. I imagine if we went when it started getting busy, there would be a crowd at the counter waiting to order. That wasn’t the case during the times we went. We visited on Friday around 11am & Saturday around 10am. The food was very good and came out quickly. This establishment is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. No wait for a table and there are televisions to watch or a speaker to connect my music to. I recommend this place to true Mexican food lovers.

The best beef fajita tacos I ever got in tomball .. really good prices and quality is amazing tastes like authentic Mexican food even the tortillas are all hand made and cooked in front of you cheaper then most food trucks even that has Everything premade and old .. this is super fresh and great cost .. was so good i almost fainted while at first glance i thought it was small but one made me so full because it was so organic and filled with meat .. was so good i want to go back everyday
