With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

We’ve been here before, first time interacting with Katie and Hannah. First I’d like to say great customer service by Katie and great preparation by Hannah. These two deserve a raise and the owner of this shop will do well by taking care of them. My wife and I really liked the taste of the drinks with the right amount of sweet, the kid’s chocolate drinks were good as well. This is definitely better than Starbucks and we will continue to come back on our next trip.

Good coffee and I like their cookies as well! Convenient drive through and quick service! They have in-store made breakfast burritos which are really good! I like to go to the park nearby and sit by the river to have my coffee.
