Such delicious food! Great portion sizes and value for money.

I had a super taco with lengua and it was cooked perfectly – super flavorful and tender! Very friendly customer service as well – you won’t leave disappointed!

OMG, I so glad I came here. I originally was going to a little taqueria a block down the road, but we parked next to here and the restaurant looked clean and inviting. The quesabirra was the best birra taco I ever had. Coming from Texas, I’m probably going to get shot when I get back home for saying that, BUT ITS THE TRUTH!! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some damn good authentic cali-mex.

I was in the city on a Friday and have always heard great things about the burritos. There were so many Mexican spots to choose from in the small vicinity and I opted with this place. When I walked inside I only seen one person in there, and they were picking up a door dash order. Anyways, I glanced at the menu real quick and was like ouchh 5.25 for a regular taco and 13.99 for a burrito. I got an asada taco and asada burrito. I thought the taco was gonna be with a big tortilla or something for the price but no, it was a normal size Taco the meat was flavorless. It did not have any flavor taste to it. The burrito was the same way. They consisted of meat, beans, rice, and salsa. None of those four items had any type of flavor at all for the price. I was thinking the breeder would have a nice taste to it. The tacos too, but nope, I was wrong. I decided to read the reviews on this place after the fact that I had ate. There is a big lobby inside and they have a lot of seating. It doesn’t look that way from the outside. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here.

We’re loving the new location! Speedy service and delicious food. We stopped by after a hike at Angel Island, ordered steak and veggie burritos and a torta al pastor. Just what we needed! This is our go-to taqueria when we’re visiting San Francisco.

This taqueria always had good food, and now it has a really nice atmosphere since it moved across the street. I always like the burritos here and I just tried the quesobirria which is yummy. They have good salsas here. Like the new digs!

I got Pozole, and it was really delicious. The sides gave it lots of extra flavor, and made it all come together. The service is fantastic and vary fast. Great place to come in a Sunday afternoon

I was so disappointed when Taqueria San Jose closed in their old location, but they now have opened just across the street.

It’s the proverbial diamond in the rough. It might not be as well-known as it’s famous neighbors, but IMHO the quality is better and the price is fair too. It’s always been my favorite taqueria in the Mission.

The staff is super friendly too.

And the new location looks nice and fresh. I do miss the outside seating though

This was the first time I had bad experience with Mexican cuisine on Mission Street. We chose this place as it has better ambience than other Mexican places around. It opens till late too.
We had chicken burrito (3.5), steak quesadilla (2.5), pork tacos (3), horchetta (2.5)

I’ve never been to a place with worst food. Do not get anything with fries unless you want to eat styrofoam like fries. When I asked for him to fix the fries they said no with attitude. When I asked for a refund he also said no. We were a group of 5 people and everyone had quality issues with food.
