Currently working jn the area and was looking for a quick bite to eat. That is exactly what I got, food was ready in about 5 minutes which was great for me, I only had about 30 minutes for lunch that day. I got a side of rice and a huarache with carne asada. The rice was a great texture with sufficient flavor. The huaraches I felt was a bit pricey. It was $9.00 and 1/3 the size of my favorite place on the other side of the river. Flavor in the huaraches was lacking though it was full of toppings including beans, rice, carne asada, beans, cheese and cilantro and onion. I would eat the rice again surely but would try another item as my main entree.

The food is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly. But for the money I pay, I would expect to eat with a full set of cutlery and solid plates. I believe that a nice set dining room table and chairs would be more in line with the amount of money being spent for a meal at this restaurant.

I had the beef enchilada’s and they were really good. They were filling and had good flavor. I also enjoy the hot sauces they had on the table.

As far as authentic Mexican tacos in the quad cities, this is up there for me. Seems family owned and run. The people are nice.

I’m in the area a couple times a year. And this is a place I always stop and eat at least once. Very authentic taqueira with excellent flavors. Affordable as well.

Tonight was our first time trying Taqueria Roly’s. The food wasn’t that bad, but the service was. Because the girl at the front counter was extremely unhelpful and had a bad attitude we will not go there again. I understand that it’s probably a drag working for your family on a Friday night, but when you’re the only interaction/representative for the restaurant you shouldn’t act put out when someone asks for something simple like a knife so they can cut their food, especially if there aren’t even any other people in the restaurant. Super disappointing.

Great little place for lunch. Priced well. Been looking for a Authentic place to get carne asada in the quad cities and I’m glad I finally found it.

I love this place! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Quad Cities and the Roly’s family is so nice! At least once a week my husband will text me to “pick up Roly’s on the way home”. It never disappoints!

Pricey for what you get and the quality of the food! I dined in and paid $5.85 for chips and salsa, that I typically get complimentary with my meal, at many other Mexican cuisine establishments. The salsa was below average too! $40 for a party of two to dine in for lunch! I will not be a returning customer.
