Well I’ve seen Taqueria Roly’s several times driving by on the busy highway, always wanting to stop! Luckily for me, I did today! (Lucky for the drivers on the road too ‘cuz I had just returned from the Eye Surgeons and probably needed not to drive…long story!)
I asked the waitress, who was incredibly helpful, to suggest something to order and Itza, that’s her name- unique I know, and she suggested the Gorditas. Gorditas it was! Funny thing, ive had these in my youth! So good! Made from steak, or your choice I assume, lettuce tomato and stuffed inside a pouch made of corn Mesa that is thick and so good! I also had my staple steak tacos, I always do without failure, and I’m going to say easily the best I’ve had in a while!
I sat there and listened to the Mexican music while taking in the environment. Very nice! I’m going to give Taqueria Roly’s 20 stars (yes I KNOW it’s just 5 stars but I included all the categories too! Don’t judge me!) The eating area looks well decorated with small reminders of Mexico and perfectly clean!
The owner came out and let me take a picture of him, he should be proud of this place!
Come out and have a truly authentic meal here! Leave a ❤️ heart to show support for Taqueria Roly’s!

Taqueria Roly’s restaurant is a place you order your food as soon as you walk in the door. There were others coming in at the same time as I was trying to place my first order. Making my first experience feel rushed. The server was nice but could tell she just wanted to take order and help the next person. The women in the back cooking food were very pleasant and welcoming. Menu items were pictured on the wall. Did not see any menus where you could set down to order from a service provider. My only reason for 4 stars.
The place was clean and bright. The food seemed authentic and delicious. We ordered the Taco Quesa-Birria which comes with a sauce. Yum! The image of these tacos which was slightly fried with marinated meat and cheese sticking out the top. Don’t forget to dunk into a deep red consommé sauce. So full of flavor. We also split an order of beans and rice along with chips and salsa. Priced was $38 which seems reasonable compared to other places. There was plenty of sitting and not busy during the mid afternoon. Which surprised me for how great this place is. They may do a lot of take out. The restrooms were clean and available. Go check this place out. So glad we found this gem! We will definitely go back.

The horchata needs some work. It was so watered down. I’m bummed I paid $19 for lunch, I got 4 tacos and an horchata and I really needed more green sauce. The two tiny containers didn’t meet my expectations. I just felt like the tacos were so dry. The flavor was not bad, I just needed more sauce. This could be a me problem, but those sauce containers are soooo tiny.

Steak inside was cooked perfectly. Tender. Shells were soft and didn’t break. Cilantro and onion were fresh. I called and placed an order and it was ready in less than 10 minutes.

I would go here again, BUT I would make sure to ask for more sauce. (The sauce is delicious!)

Staff: the staff takes your order right away. The food comes out hot and tastes great.

Building: the building is small. Only 7 tables, but both times I’ve been here, there has been seating. This place is good and should be packed every day.

Food: the food is hot and is good. Plenty of options. Really low key taco place that should be visited by everyone.

Parking: plenty of parking.

5 stars: the service was great, food was amazing, and the place had plenty of seating at lunch time.

It helps my review rating and is greatly appreciated!

Currently working in the area and was looking for a quick bite to eat. That is exactly what I got, food was ready in about 5 minutes which was great for me, I only had about 30 minutes for lunch that day. I got a side of rice and a huarache with carne asada. The rice was a great texture with sufficient flavor. The huaraches I felt was a bit pricey. It was $9.00 and 1/3 the size of my favorite place on the other side of the river. Flavor in the huaraches was lacking though it was full of toppings including beans, carne asada, cheese, cilantro and onion. I would eat the rice again surely but would try another item as my main entree.

The birria tacos are great! Fast service, piping hot fresh food, and a clean but basic dining room.

Got some food at the corn crib garden store while they were cooking open air. Very good. Visited their fixed location two days after. Again very good, genuine flavors. Family affair.

I had the beef enchilada’s and they were really good. They were filling and had good flavor. I also enjoy the hot sauces they had on the table.
