The burrito was huge and the chicken suegras was amazing. I absolutely loved the crispy shell. It was so good and flavorful. The salsa was very good as well.
This is a wonderful little spot to grab some quick lunch that is fresh and hot, and sit for a picnic on the back of the tailgate. It was a nice experience, especially for the price and the fast food.
*** Update : We need the truck back . We have tried a few times to stop by the taco truck and it hasn’t been there . Please update Google if there is a new address. We will drive to the restaurant and see if the food is just as good as the truck.
*** Update: Thanks for coming back to Kinston!!! The food was amazing. We took our lawn chairs out, found a shaded area, and enjoyed some good food!
The consommé that accompanied the tacos was incredibly flavorful, rich, and aromatic, adding an extra layer of depth to each bite when dipped. The blend of spices in the birria was spot-on, with just the right amount of heat. Each taco was an explosion of flavor that left me wanting more. If you’re a fan of tacos, I highly recommend stopping by and trying these quesabirria tacos – you won’t be disappointed!
Everything was cooked great. The marinated pork and chorizo tacos were magically delicious.
This is the taco truck sister to the brick and mortar restaurant in La Grange. This truck sits in the parking lot with Roses. The truck serves tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, and quesabirrias.
I love taco trucks and have been on a taco kick the last month. My review history will detail this. Tacos from trucks can vary slightly but are mostly similar. This said, the tacos here have a couple of aspects that stand out. The liberal amount of meat on these is noticeable as well as the bits of pineapple in the meat. You get lime and cucumber slices (on the side) as opposed to other joints. Anyway, the tacos are 2.50 each, and I felt priced well relative to other joints with a large portion of meat. These are corn tortillas with cilantro and onion.
The tacos have the typical meats. I got pastor and chorizo. Both are zippy and flavorful. Both are a reorder. You get green (hot salsa) to add should you need it. The pineapple gives these a little something extra, and I loved this. These tacos are among the best I can remember having. Perfect.
I live 30+ minutes away but would go out of my way to eat these again. This is a destination joint for tacos.
Excellent, and I can’t wait to come back.
