Horrible experience, place was desolated for a reason, I was the only one there and it seems like not many people visit there. Place looks like it used to be a Moe’s location that went out of business and now it became a taqueria. Place is dirty, tables full of crumbs and pieces of dry meat from who ever ate there, they don’t clean the tables. The bathroom is equally dirty. The service is horrible, these 3 guys there that have no customer service experience at all. Food was the worst part, they don’t make it fresh, they hardly warm it up, I ordered two tacos and everything was cold. To be honest I don’t know what kind of meat I was eating, nothing look right, but I already paid $7 for two tacos so I ate it. Will never return, not recommended. Last but not least, it looks like a dead plaza, with very sketchy characters roaming around the parking lot, didn’t feel safe.

11/10 Amazing experience from the start, I was greeted by Eric who was very friendly when ordering the tacos. He informed me that the corn tortillas Were made in house, typically, I don’t like corn, but since they were made in house, I had to try them and I was very very pleasantly surprised. I for once enjoyed corn tortillas and by far the best I’ve ever had. Out of the five meats, I tried the carnitas was definitely my favorite and they have a great salsa Verde and salsa Rojo. Good prices, great atmosphere, amazing food. Check them out!

I’ve ordered the steak torta a few times. It’s very filling and the salsas add good flavor. My only gripe is the bread is not toasted, so by the time I take my first bite, it’s really soggy. If it was toasted, it would be 5 stars!

Their beef pozole soup was incredibly wonderful. Nicely seasoned broth with all sorts of tender beef cuts and fatty pieces.

This place is SO GOOD! I work nearby and get lunch a few times a month here and am always pleased. I either get the Steak or Carnita Torta (they fill it!) and it’s delicious. Today I got both Steak and Carnita tacos. Also so so good! Their Pineapple agua Frescas are simply delightful. I keep telling my work mate that goes to Chipotle daily, to try this place but…his loss! Definitely check them out if you’re hungry!

This is the place to go for Mexican food. Very well priced, food is delicious. I have been a return customer several times now and have yet to be disappointed by anything so far including pupusas, Mexican tacos, and their torta. Everything tastes fresh, cooked to perfection, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Awesome spot for a casual lunch or dinner.

Being a frequent traveler to San Antonio, TX, I have given up trying to find good, cheap TexMex food, like what I find in SA. While my $15 carnitas plate wasn’t cheap, the meat was very well prepared and tasty and a large enough portion to make 3 overstuffed tacos. The rice and beans were good as well. My wife went a la carte and had an Al Pastor Mexican taco and a chicken gordita, both of which she said were very tasty. It is also nice that they have a weekend special, 3 carnitas tacos for the price of 2. We will definitely return to try other menu items. On a side note, it was nice that the young man, who prepared the food, came out to insure everything was to our satisfaction.
Won’t be returning to the overly priced Acapulco, nearby, after they served us queso which was as thin as water and when I brought it to their attention, they just said they were aware. Neither will we be returning to the also overly priced El Vaquero further up 23, when on our last visit, they served us burnt tostada chips and when I brought it to their attention, they just said they were aware.

Just wanted to come and recommend everyone this place. We were just here today and OMG! DELICIOUS!
If you like AUTHENTIC Mexican food, this is your place! They even have Pozole, Caldo de Res and Menudo (aside from the Steak and Pastor tacos that are amazing!)
We are real foodies and I even had to talk to the guy in the kitchen to congratulate him and recognize his dedication. He made my day!
