Freckled and Frugal
I had some of the worst service here that I have ever had. They bring us food that is still frozen. And when we bring it to their attention they get mad and say,” it’s still frozen!?!” “We’ve never had any complaints about it.” We were not reimbursed or treated well. We have never went back and will never go back. Over priced barely warmed food. When I go to a restaurant I expect freshly cooked food not warmed up. I can make frozen food in the comfort of my own home for less than half the price.

This place is horrible. Our waitress was super rude, our plates and our silverware were dirty so was our table. The waitress literally had the audacity to argue with me when I told her the silverware was dirty. We asked for sopapillas and didn’t get them. And to top it all off the food was horrible. I remember this place being awesome when I was a kid. Great food great service great people. And now it’s horrible. If you want good new Mexican food, go to Benny’s or Benny’s 2. Henrietteas is ridiculous.

We waited for over 30 minutes for our food to feed the 5 of us. They were not very busy. We asked for extra napkins 3 times and were not given any until we walked up to ask the hostess at the front. Luckily all our food was warm and pretty good for the most part, except my BLT which was sad to say the least: very dry with no mayo, too chewy bacon and too dry lettuce. In all, not the greatest service or food, but certainly not the best.

It’s really sad when you spend $60 to eat and they give you poor service. We have a 3 year old that of course has to have part of everyone’s meal. We ordered her a cheeseburger but she wanted a little bit of my spaghetti that was all you can eat. And when I say a little bit. I mean about three bites for myself. The waitress wouldn’t give me a refill it because I gave the baby a few bites. When we ask the cashier about the regular priced she says that that’s the price and it doesn’t matter that we bought the baby her only plate and shared very little. She gives attitude and walks off. This place is very unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend just due to the rudeness. Anyone that has a baby would understand that they always want everyone else’s food and the tiny bit shared with her would make anyone question why they have the attitude they did especially being that we bought her a meal and not trying to get something for free. I would like to see better service and then I feel like I could recommend this business. But not until the service is improved.

The food is okay. The service was alright, drinks weren’t refilled often because the waitress didn’t come to check unless she was delivering food or the check. She was polite when two people added sopapillas to their meal last minute.

Henrietta’s has a big variety on their menu so there is something for everybody. Things like New Mexican dishes, burgers/sandwiches, Home cooking entrees like chicken fried steak etc., soups and salads. Breakfast menu is served all day.The food is consistently good, nice portions, good kids menu, good prices, family friendly. Service is excellent.Lots of regulars frequent there.

The food was good and the service was excellent. Mix of Mexican and American food. Ordered the grilled chicken breast with Swiss and mushrooms with guacamole and long green. Hadn’t had one as good since in el paso. Others in my party were pleased.

The food was ok, not bad but nothing special. They only have complementary chips and salsa after 4pm which is strange. The service is just alright. All in all, while I can not really complain I will still never return.

This place is amazing. In fact I spent a lot of time there as a kid, even helped bus table’s now and again. Henrietta herself taught me to love good food, it was in this restAurant that I learned I wanted to own my own restaurant when I grew up and to this day I’m working towards it. Most amazing food ever.
