Was very impressed with the food I ordered. My eyes were bigger than my stomach when ordering. They were not shy on portion size. Tons of items to choose from! I was not expecting items to be as proportioned as much. Food was amazing an filling. This is the place for authentic Mexican food. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean and full of life!

In a world full of overpriced mediocre food, somehow there exist a restaurant chain called Jalisco’s that brings some welcome relief. Great food and service at a price that seem too low to be true. Is it world class cuisine? Maybe not. Is it delicious? You bet! What makes it even more delicious is knowing that you are getting an amazing value for your money and that you are not going away hungry. It is good food and they don’t skimp. How they can deliver so much good food for the price is really amazing.

I’ve lived in Texas for almost 20 years. I’ve eaten darn good Mexican food in many cities. This is GREAT Mexican food and that’s not even the best part. The service was impressive by any standard. In a time where service seems to be slipping away, this was the best service I’ve had in years. I think 4 different people came to the table to help us. Didn’t matter who came over, they took amazing care of us AND FAST. Chips and salsa were on the table within 30 seconds of us sitting down. Guacamole was there a minute after ordering it. My wife ordered a frozen Margarita, less than a minute it was there. And I’m pretty sure they have one of those Star Trek food creators because the food was out in almost an impossible amount of time, hot and delicious. All of that AND fair prices. I got the Combo Loco and couldn’t finish it. And I’m a big guy. Last part to explain how good the service was even after we ate…..I went to check out and people were in front of me. A guy came out of nowhere and said, I’ll ring you up over here. They had a second register. Rang me up and I was out the door quick. If you are passing through Cuero and are hungry, come by, you won’t regret it.

I got the #16 Hernandez plate. The asada and onions was good. The cheese enchilada was plain. The corn tortilla for the cheese enchilada was very dry. I wish the enchilada and cheese was soaked into the tortilla giving it more flavor. My wife got the Carne guisada plate and loved every bite. Service was good and restaurant was clean.

Absolutely the best service and food! We order tortilla soup everywhere we go and theirs is by far the best we’ve ever had. The prices are lower than most. The restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated. We happened to stop here because of the parking for RV’s & Trucks and the looks of the restaurant. We will return!
