Best tacos I’ve ever eaten, and one of the few places in Carrollton where I feel the food is truly worth the price. Only down side is their tendency to open late, and have been known to close around 4 and reopen at 5. Not a big deal but I wish the hours were on the menu to clear up confusion. But beyond that they really do make some excellent food

Taqueria El Pelón is one of the best places in the Carrollton area to grab some quick, delicious tacos. I have been going here a few times a month since they have opened up to get my taco fix. Presentation is always , customer service is always top notch, if they are busy it might take a little longer but you know that the quality is . Everything I have gotten from Taqueria El Pelón has been nothing but fantastic and left me craving for more. In my opinion, the green salsa serves with their food is what gives the food ✨razzle dazzle✨, and at this point I can’t eat anything without it, however I have and the tacos are just as if not even more delicious. If you are in the Carrollton area, they are well worth the drive, and you will not regret it. This small business deserves way more than 5 stars in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easily the best tacos I’ve ever had, and I try to hit as many taquerias as I can when traveling the state. Every time I eat here I can honestly say it’s the best meal I’ve ever had, because they somehow just keep getting better every time. I wouldn’t change a thing and I look forward to coming here every time I visit Carrollton.

Good food but the service has gone down hill. Used to be fast and great. I just waited a half hour in the cold for a bowl and 1 taco. I know they r busy and only had 2 people working . But they really need to pick things up . They need to renovate that white building behind them and get some service back in it

Great food and service! If you want the best tasting mexican food in Carrollton come here! I had the chorizo and steak tacos and they are literally the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had my fair share of authentic Mexican tacos. My husband usually has the torta and he agrees that its the best. Hot and fresh and full of flavor. Support these hardworking folks so the business stays here in Carrollton.
