This place is great! My husband and I recently tried it for the first time and the food and the drinks were amazing! It’s like you’re taste buds taking a trip to Hawaii we will definitely be going again. Also the atmosphere was very inviting and clean and they had a small stage and lights, there was no band the Friday night we went, so maybe only on weekends. I’m looking forward to going back and trying a different dish and hopefully something will be going on on the stage, either way the food alone is worth returning for.

I’m really sad that the food is terrible… The tempura was chewy and soggy… The teriyaki steak had absolutely no flavor and no char… Same with the chicken teriyaki. I really wanted to like this place. I might go back for the drinks, but definitely not the food. The service was good though… The bartender was really nice and conversational. And the establishment has very open architecture and seems like a good place to have a party.

I’ll come here for drinks, but I’ll go to L&L for the Hawaiian barbecue…

This was my first time to this restaurant/bar. The bartender was a cool guy and took time to get to know me he seemed interested in what brought me in and what I did in Stockton.

The vibe was pretty chill with some Hawaiian music going on in the background. I went with the chicken teriyaki and the garlic edamame. Both were very good. The chicken teriyaki came out, very fresh and hot from the kitchen. I had the edamame for an appetizer, and that was equally as fast .

There is tons of room for people in this establishment, and it looks like they have a stage for music.

I would definitely come back.

Nice cool little spot to hang at on a Friday night. Its nice to see the transformation this place got from The Ol Whiskey Barrel. The vibes are cool, the bartenders were cool. The restrooms are a little interesting as they share the sink but have 4 stalls for doing you business. All in all, I would come again though. Apparently there is food here too which I did not get this time around. Mayne next time.

Came here for my 40th birthday and received the best service. The bouncer that greeted us was sweet and seated us immediately in a nice big booth next to the bar. The bartenders were fast and attentive with getting our drinks ordered and refilled, which were delicious (had mojitos and mai tai’s). The atmosphere was great and the music had us all dancing for hours. I even got a birthday shoutout by the DJ and was brought a piece of cake. Thank you to all the staff for making my celebration memorable and fun.

This is my go-to spot when I’m on the Miracle Mile. My go-to for food, drinks, and watching games. The wings and lumpia are good and worth trying.
I enjoy the DJ or music they have playing during the evenings. The service is good, even on busy days. The bartenders and servers are all polite and helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food was because certain foods on the menu were unavailable to order. The bathrooms are nice but a little awkward. The women’s and men’s restrooms share the same sinks to wash your hands. I came out of the bathroom and waited for a group of girls to take pictures before I could wash my hands.

Went there for Superbowl.
They charged 25 $ for a disgusting buffet. Garbage food . I will never return . Place is a joke

Man, I miss the Whiskey Barrel days. The vibe? Legendary. The crowd? Grown, old school, and actually knew how to act. And the service? Straight fire. Islanders used to be that spot… until the owner and security started acting like they were running the VIP section of the Taj Mahal or something. Like calm down it’s a bar, not Buckingham Palace.

We pull up not even at the door yet and one of them already side-eyeing us like we stole something. We get to the entrance, and it’s a whole block party: folks running in and out, people drinking like it’s Mardi Gras, and others puffin’ away on the sidelines like Snoop just dropped a set.

Our homies come out to dap us up, and boom suddenly it’s “We’re closed.” Closed? With the music still rattling the sidewalk? Y’all got the speakers on 10 and the crowd still two-stepping, but somehow we’re closed?

Look, I get having standards … but make it make sense. If you’re gonna shut it down, at least pretend like you mean it. #trash
