AMAZING ! Real, authentic genuine Mexican food . Handmade tortillas, spicy salsa, clean establishment and warm, kind staff. This was the best Taco Tuesday I’ve ever had here in The states.

The food is first class. They opened up recently and may soon outgrow the very limited indoor seating as it gets colder. Its kind of a hobby to eat at as many different mexican restaurants as I travel. I’ve been to hundreds. This is comfortably in the top 10% or better. I brought 3 people and everyone loved what they got.

Every time I go the food is great. Food portions are big!! The tacos are always filled to the top with meat and the carne asada dinner has great flavor. Can’t go wrong with anything you get on the menu.

We ordered catering for a party we hosted and I cannot say enough good about this establishment!!! The accommodations, the quantity and QUALITY for the price, the friendly and over the top service! All of the things you want! Every single one of our 20 guests ranted about how good the food was! They even individually packed tacos for each guest
Absolutely recommend these guys for dine in or take out!

Googled “best tortas in NW burbs” and this was the first recommendation. Then I saw reviews about homemade tortillas and I knew I had to try it! Finally, after living in the area for 3 years we have our found our go-to for Mexican food. The tortillas were in fact delicious, with the tacos having very generous portions of meat. The salsa verde is best I’ve had. The chicken sope was also perfect, and so big that I have to save the torta for later 🙂 everything 10/10

Our new go-to spot for Mexican food! We always order the taco dinner—fairly priced and consistently delicious. The chicken and steak both have great texture (never fatty or chewy) and are perfectly seasoned. We love the red and green sauces so much that we save the extra to use for other meals. Bonus points for offering both corn and flour tortillas—my husband prefers corn, I love flour, so it’s a win for both of us. Highly recommend!

Our New Favorite Spot for Authentic Mexican Food!

My husband and I love exploring different taquerias—and with so many great options in and around Chicago, we’ve tried so so many. But this place has quickly become one of our absolute favorites.

The tacomalito is an absolute must-try—packed with flavor, made with a fresh, homemade tortilla, tender skirt steak, and rich, house-made guacamole. So good! I also loved the raja (poblano) gordita—perfectly cooked and full of bold, savory flavor.

The tacos were exceptional—my husband even said it’s probably the best taco stand he’s ever tried. And the salsa? Fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. I know I keep saying “fresh” and “flavorful,” but that’s exactly what this place delivers—homemade food that tastes like it was made just for you.

To top it all off, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and generously offered us all the salsa we wanted.

We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Quickly becoming my favorite place to get Mexican food in the Northwest suburbs. I’ve ordered out 4 times so far, and the food has been consistently excellent. Would highly recommend the pastor and asada tacos on the homemade corn tortillas, the burritos and tortas are also excellent.

We loved the homemade tortillas, they were so soft. We both thought the carne asada was very tender and juicy. The burrito was a great size. Was disappointed with the size of the side of rice considering $3.99. Atmosphere was not very dine-in friendly, however, there are a couple tables with chairs. We will be back – the food was delicious!

It was so damn good I came to write a review so everyone knows this is the spot!! Steak was tender, flavorful and filling. As was the barbacoa and pastor. They’re not shy with their food portions. Homemade tortillas were delicious, the green salsa / sauce they use is very good, and the habanero sauce was also great. The tacomalito was a game changer!! Lowkey fries were also bomb
