We hosted our wedding after-party at Dwyer’s and it was the perfect way to end the night. After our surprise wedding ceremony and reception at The Press Room, our guests headed over to Dwyer’s to keep the celebration going—and wow, did they deliver.
The hospitality here is unmatched. Every single member of the staff was so personable, fun, and genuinely kind. They weren’t just serving drinks; they were part of the fun. A huge thank you to Kevin, the owner, for being so wonderful and welcoming, and to Julia, the event coordinator, for helping coordinate everything so seamlessly.
Dwyer’s gave us a space where we could have fun and connect with all of our favorite people after the whirlwind of the ceremony. We are so glad we added this on and couldn’t recommend Dwyer’s more. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable!
To many more espresso martinis at Dwyer’s in our married life!

Brought my husband here for lunch on his birthday as we continued on to Portland. There was impromptu live music from a circle of people sitting at the front, complete with instruments… just like I had witnessed in Ireland. Food was very good, attentive wait staff. We parked at a very convenient parking garage, which cost $1 (!!) for our time spent there. Recommend a visit!

Drinks were awesome and the live music was the best. My wife and I stumbled across this gem on a weekend getaway. There was a local music group playing Irish music with a mixture of instruments, some I recognize and others I didnt. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite, drink and listen to history. Saturdays from noon to 3pm.

Dwyer’s Pub is a hidden gem in Portsmouth. We wish we discovered this cozy pub sooner. The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for knocking back a few drinks and watching a game at the bar. The free jukebox was fun to play with and unique to the area. The cocktails were exquisite – the GinGin was creative and refreshing. As for the menu – it is small but packed with delicious options. The homemade fried mozzarella and pulled pork taco were the table’s favorites. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were awesome! We will be back soon

Stopped here for a drink and snacks. It was a very nice place and seemed to be a place the locals go to. Service was great and we had a nice time.

Was on a business trip and this place was recommended to me as it was in walking distance from my hotel. It was like stepping into the past. Old school juke box or enjoy live music are certain nights. It felt like it was built specially for the local community and they treated you as such. Would absolutely go back!

They do not always have enough employees working and have to wait to long for food. Inside or even drive thru they make you go park and then wait even longer for your order. Is like they do not know how to manage staff to make sure they always have enough employees at any given point of the day.

Portsmouth’s greatest new addition! This place is a must-see. I went for a few drinks after work and the place was crankin’. Great for a young professional crowd to meet new people, and prices are very fair. They also cater to family crowds. Come see the new kids on the block – Dwyer’s Pub!
