Went here on Friday night. Of all my years of going to Portsmouth I’ve never stopped or checked it out. It’s kind of hidden on the other side of the popular area. Came in and found a few spots at the bar. Both bar tenders were extremely attentive and nice. Made conversation and even told me the Juke box was free! Had some fried pickles and were delicious. Drinks were very good. As the night progresses it got busier and louder. Really awesome place to hangout. It smaller but one of the better places to hangout in Portsmouth. Well done!

We absolutely loved the vibe in here. We did make a reservation but I’m not entirely sure if it was needed, maybe we caught them on a slower part of the night. As we were leaving almost every seat was taken.

Came here based on the reviews. Stopped by for lunch on a weekend afternoon and it was really quiet. Thought that was a bit strange as it was a really nice day out. All of the food that we tried was just bad. Over fried and burnt. Couldn’t tell the difference in taste between the fish and shrimp tacos. The honey glazed chicken tenders were way over cooked and tasted terrible. The fries were also over fried and over cooked. No idea how everything was so bad but I can only image it was an off day for the kitchen. Service was good and the drinks were ok but we came to eat and it was a huge let down.

Had intended to try out another spot in the area, but to our benefit, they were packed. Another Google search, and we found Dwyer’s located diagonally across the public parking from there. It is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a unique place to grab a bite and a beverage, you need to stop in.

Portsmouth’s greatest new addition! This place is a must-see. I went for a few drinks after work and the place was crankin’. Great for a young professional crowd to meet new people, and prices are very fair. They also cater to family crowds. Come see the new kids on the block – Dwyer’s Pub!

Just got out and we’re both upset. All our food was overcooked, which means both the cook and the server decided that they were okay with that poor quality of food. My other half didn’t even want to try my chicken and waffles based on how bad it looked, and he loves chicken and waffles. They were out of the one beer I wanted and the service was extremely slow. It was good to see the only server standing around and chatting though. Just like the food, they burnt a couple of potential regulars. We won’t be back, that was a waste of $70.

Great vibe and food… cauliflower and brussel apps were super tasty and the bang bang shrimp tacos too! Bonus our dog enjoyed the awesome cover band and all the love on the outside patio 🙂
