Ordered the naked chicken sandwich with edemame succotash, forest mushroom miso soup, pork taco, and country fried steak with spinach and broccoli. Tasty food and a comfy-rustic vibe. Service was timely and our waitress was really kind. Great spot for fresh comfort foods and with lots of history. Don’t forget to catch the sunset on the patio on a beautiful Georgia evening.

Oh my goodness so good! I’ve been twice in two days! Once for supper medium steak with sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes then again for brunch lobster dip with chips and chicken fried chicken dippers with potatoes, grits and gravy.. plus drinks and the best bread pudding I’ve had since moving from Louisiana! I will definitely be back! The owners and bartender are great friendly guys and I can’t wait to hang out and party here during the summer! Great food great service waiting on the great summer fun/activities!

The building and atmosphere are beautiful! Very warm and cozy place to have some good southern food. I was very hungry so I dug into my food as soon as it arrived. My first bite was fried chicken and gravy and it was delicious! Also, it explains why there’s a bite taken from the chicken in the picture. I got mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The potatoes were very good. The coleslaw was okay; it had a sort of kick, I’m thinking vinegar but not 100% sure. I finished my plate though. My husband got the country fried steak and it was also very delicious! I wish they had a kids menu. I had to order a side of potatoes for my 1 year old and it was $3. The menu is a pricey, but it’s worth it for an occasion. We’ll be back, but probably leave the kid with a sitter.

Food was good. Had the fresh fettuccine pasta and salmon. Salmon was very good and fresh. Highly recommend the chicken and dumpling soup when available and any dessert! Pictured is Mouse Stacks.

This place is delicious! The gator meat in both the egg rolls and the tacos was delicious. I really hope this place does well. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and it’s nice and clean. I really liked the atmosphere inside. The only reasons I didn’t give it a full 5 stars was the very small beer selection… Nobody wants Bud light on tap when we have all these awesome local crafts in town… And the food, though it was delicious, was a little too salty. I like salty, but it was a tad bit overboard

We really enjoyed it! The building was gorgeous and full of character. Our wait staff was attentive and was happy to chat with us about the building and food. I would recommend that they advertise a bit more clearly in their site that the have a limited brunch menu though. The food itself was delicious! Especially the fried chicken and biscuits dippers.

Great food, excellent price. Corn bread is delicious, as well as the coleslaw. The Smoked chicken was outstanding, it falls right off the bone. Plenty of gluten free options (reason I visited this place). The service was average but to be fair, it was a busy day.

The only thing about the restaurant that was fine was the waitress. We had smoked chicken, it was extremely dry and not worth eating. My daughter had the turkey breast with cranberry sauce, the sauce was so thick that no one could actually spread it on the the turkey breast and the meat itself was a nightmare, dry beyond words. Their signature cake, which we loved in the past from their Marietta location, Hummingbird Cake, was old, stale, and brittle. The mashed potatoes were good, but that’s not hard to make, with a pound of butter, everything will taste good. Oh, and the there are no healthy options, green beans are made with bacon, kidney beans made with bacon, there really isn’t much made without a ton of butter or bacon. Definitely would go back there. One more point, it was freezing cold inside. Not a pleasant experience it all but our waitress was very nice. Great service bad food.
