Stopped here after our ride and wasn’t disappointed! Really nice Mexican restaurant. Food was amazing! Must have their house Margarita! Decor was pretty cool. The paintings on the walls were well done. We had lunch, spent $80 for two full lunches and two margaritas. They do offer take out. It is a lot of food. I think you could easily share a lunch special and appetizer for two people. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu. The staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely would visit here again.

Visited here 12/18/22. Party of seven and got seated within five minutes. Food came fast, but drinks were kinda slow. Staff was friendly and establishment was fairly clean. My quesadilla Mexicana was Luke warm and horchata was watery for my opinion. The atmosphere is great here, they even have a bar. The outside is very nice too. Lovely flowers. I went here because I’d heard they serve vegetarian meals. The menu only offered one. BUT, the waitress said they can make any dish as vegetarian. I ordered the house special burrito as veggie. It was terrific!

This was our first time there but most certainly won’t be our last. We went with friends and no one say they left still hungry . Our server was great and the food, I don’t have words to describe it beyond awesome, tasty, excellent and more than enough. I even had to take some home!!! Look, if you like Mexican cuisine then give them a chance, you won’t regret it.

I’ve always loved Tapatio’s! Even on a busy Saturday night with a line out the door, they still seem to get you in within a reasonable amount of time. Super fast table service, and the food is always very fresh and tasty! It’s the best Mexican food in Polk county that I’ve found so far!
