Since I was already in the area, decided to give this place a try based on the reviews—and I’m so glad I did! Parking was a little tricky, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was **delicious**, full of flavor. The service was great—friendly and welcoming. I’m currently in a food coma and will definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Food was good. The location can use some updating, prices were reasonable, heck you can spend just as much at a fast food joint nowadays. Overall no big complaints. It’s ok for a quick fix if you’re looking for Puerto Rican food.

My niece treated me and her kids tonight and my dinner of Pastelillo Dinner was delicious. Super fresh and filling. The crust was very light and crispy and the filling was so good. My niece had the steak tacos that I tried and the steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Her daughter and the steak sandwich and that was very tasty. And the youngest in our group had chicken nuggets and fries and he was happy. I also have to add the salsa verde was a hit. We all added it to our food. I definitely recommend eating here.

I’d give them a 4.5. I’ve only dined in once a long time ago and I remember the jibaritos being really good. What I came to review is the catering. My family and I have ordered from here for the past 3 new years and we always enjoy the food. The lechón is juicy and the rice fluffy and flavorful. Pastelillos are tasty too. A little pricey though. Offering catering packages would be even better!

Last sundays visit, at least 4 tables and we sat ourselves and I had to clean the table myself since there were no clean tables. The server/cashier was over worked had too much going on. Props to her. Apps were burnt. Bacalao, alcapurria and chuletas were burnt. Bacalao was so burnt and they served it with limón Smallest papa rellena and fritura I’ve ever had and $3-4 a piece! Jibarito de ribeye was $19 but it doesn’t come w cheese, that’s extra! This was the skinniest jibarito I’ve ever seen in my life. And most expensive! Esp coming from Chicago this place was expensive. Chuletas were overly crispy. Service was slow they were too busy for one server in front in a Sunday. They have a variety of all Latino cultures so be prepared. Wouldn’t go back, not my style. There’s not one thing they “specialize” in. Glad they’re in Indiana though !

Paid almost 20 dollars for a jibarito and this is what I receive. I have never bought a jibarito that looks this bad before.

I came in for food on Sunday 2/2 around opening, i don’t remember the servers name, but she was amazing. Her knowledge of the menu and being able to explain it to make sure customers understood is awesome. Her service was top tier. I started off with an alcapurria, it was phenomenal. I also started off with a relleno de papa, and it by far was my favorite, the flavor of the meat was perfect and it was fried nicely golden. For my main course i had a steak jibarito with arroz con gandules and potato salad. The rice was good and flavorful, if i had to say anything, i had hoped being so close to open it’d have that fresh taste, but even still it was delicious. Overall, i had an amazing experience. Thank you

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The food was incredible, the flavors were perfect and the food came out quickly. My boyfriend just came back from Puerto Rico and he said this food was better than the food in Puerto Rico! It’s that good! We drove here from Chicago just to try it and it was definitely worth the trip.

Horrible customer service. Price on the Google page shows jibarito sandwich $8, and the dinner $12. I placed a pick up order for six dinners and the cashier rings up the orders for $20. I showed the employee the price online, and she said, “Well that’s not the price”. She called the manager, and he wouldn’t do anything about the price. So the price is now $13.54 per jibarito sandwich. The employee was rude and inconsiderate. Ill never go back.
