We were starving to have our staple indian food while vacationing in Russia.
We walked all the way to Tandoor.
This place felt like home.
The smell of the indian kitchen made us hungrier.
This place is comparatively costlier but the food is worth the money spent.
The place is very clean and tidy.

Amazing Halal Indian Restaurant near St. Isaac’s Cathedral. We ordered chicken biriyani, chicken butter, samosa, salad, lentil soup and garlic nan. All dishes were delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Service a bit slow, but never minds as food is amazing 🙂

The food is very delicious! Loved the samosa and the butter chicken. The service was slow, we got all food without getting the cutlery and the drinks arrived after we finished almost half of the dishes.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in St Petersburg, a bit pricey but considering the taste and location of this restaurant- it’s agreeable. We specifically asked the staff for Halal food and he confirmed that they have halal dishes. The taste was great, something you won’t find easily in St Petersburg. Not that ‘Indian’ spicy but also not bland. Clean and well maintained restaurant with popular Bollywood tracks being played in the background. We ordered Murg Hara Pyaz, Tandoori Murgh, Tandoori Nan and Gulab Jamun for dessert. Still better quantity served than other restaurants offering the same cuisine. Service was fast, though we went on a Friday night.

I went here three times altogether during my trips to St.Petersburg in 2021,2022 & 2023.
The restaurant is located near Isakovski Cathedral in the heart of the city.
The restaurant has very nice and authentic Indian food taste. It is a bit pricey but the quality of food is great.
The staff is very generous and polite.
The place is usually full especially around weekends and holidays so book the table in advance.
