We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hyderabad Biriyani House in Tampa! We started with the mutton haleem and paya, both rich, flavorful, and perfectly slow-cooked with deep, authentic spices. For the main course, we tried their new mutton kofta with rice and the dum biriyani — both were outstanding. The kofta was tender and beautifully seasoned, and the biriyani had that classic, fragrant Hyderabadi aroma and taste.
We ended with the double ka meetha for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal. Everything was authentically spiced and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone craving true Hyderabadi cuisine!

Got there after lunch and it was empty so service was fast and cordial. I order Butter chicken and the sauce was amazing, I gave 4 stars because some pieces of chicken tasted like old chicken, some others were great so I think I had a mix. Rice was good mixed with it. Is not a deal breaker it’s actually a really good butter sauce which is my favorite so I will come back just for it!

I tried the mutton mandi.The portion size was good and the mutton was fairly tender, but I felt it would have been much better if they had added some gravy to the meat.The rice flavor wasn’t as strong or aromatic as I expected either. However, the staff were very welcoming and polite, which made the experience pleasant.

I visited Hyderabad The Biryani House in Tampa today, and in my opinion, it is easily one of the best biryani spots in the area.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Chicken Biryani, Karachi Chicken Biryani, Goat Dum Biryani, and Karachi Goat Biryani. To me, the flavors were outstanding and perfectly balanced. I also felt the Chicken 65 and the other appetizers we tried were top-notch.
Beyond the food, I was personally very impressed with the customer service.

going to tampa from miami for a visit found this beautiful desi restaurant online and thought to give it a try on my way. Everything was delicious. My favorite dish was chicken karachi biryani. We had many more dishes fish, mutton biryani, chicken tikka, chicken 365. Everything was just delicious. Definitely worth a try.

We made the drive from Orlando and it was absolutely worth it. The food took me right back to some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Chicago. Especially the Chicken 65 and chili chicken—both were perfectly spiced, flavorful, and cooked just right.
The staff was so kind and patient with our kids, which made the experience even better. We felt truly welcomed and relaxed the entire time.
Between the amazing food and warm service we’ll definitely make the drive again. Highly recommend!

Tried Hyderabad Biryani House yesterday and honestly, it wasn’t a good experience. We ordered mutton dum biryani, chili chicken, and tea. The biryani was bland and the meat wasn’t great.
I asked for a spicy appetizer and the server recommended chili chicken—but it was more tangy than spicy. When I mentioned it, he said it’s “American spicy,” which should’ve been said earlier. I asked to make it spicier, expecting something like 7 or 8 out of 10. But what I got was an extreme 10/10 level heat. It felt like the chef just dumped in chili powder without any balance or thought. As someone who enjoys spice, even I couldn’t handle more than a bite. My stomach hurt for hours afterward.
A chef should know how to handle spice properly—not just go all in blindly. Service and seating were fine, but the food and spice handling really ruined the meal for me.
Won’t be going back.
