Takumi’s ‘No ramen, no life’ motto has started a long time ago in 2007 with Mr. Saeki and Mr. Okada who wanted to bring out new tasty flavors into Europe. A simple ramen shop in Düsseldorf, spread out to the rest of Germany. Which has led to much more shops all over Europe, such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic and Austria! Our goal is to spread our love for ramen with new ramen lovers all over the world. Who knows where the next Takumi location will be?

Tastes are very authentic.
Gyozas are prepared perfectly.
Soft, but with crunchy part! Love it!
You can’t reserve a place. There is a waiting line if too crowded. It’s worth waiting for it.
We ordered the chicken gyoza and two ramen: the regular teriyaki miso and the spicy version. The portions are pretty big. The gyoza tasted good, but could have been more flavorful.
As for the ramen, it was okay, but not as good as other more authentic ramen spots I’ve tried. The broth lacked seasoning and depth. The spicy one wasn’t really spicy, I had to add extra chili flakes myself. The chicken tasted decent, but the noodles felt like store-bought packet noodles and weren’t anything special. The bok choy was also still quite hard instead of nicely softened.
Unfortunately, there was also a pretty strong chlorine-like smell in the air when we were there, which wasn’t very pleasant and took away from the experience.
Prices are moderate, and overall it’s a decent place if you’re craving a basic bowl of ramen in the city. Just don’t expect a very authentic or standout experience.
I don’t suggest the special… the chicken was not really tasty and the duck I did not like it. The pork was better but still not as expected.
The strength is in the portion size of the noodles itself and the broth taste. Everything else just fine.
Prices are in my opinion a bit high for the offer, especially on drinks where I paid a small cup of green tea with an American filter without leaves about 4€.
Ramen 5/5- it has the Naruto fish cake inside with a really fluffy and heavy miso base. It tasted hearty and lots of veggies. The meat was also very tender.
We saw a long queue outside and thought it must be a good place for lunch. After walking around, we noticed the line was shorter, so we quickly joined. The wait was about 10 minutes before we got a table.
The restaurant was full of customers. The staff who took our order was friendly. Food was served quickly and came one by one to our table. It was delicious.
They also have their own toilet, which is convenient.
Overall, it’s a busy restaurant with a welcoming vibe, friendly staff, and tasty food. Just take note that the queue can get long.
