We tried Takumi tonight for an early Valentine’s dinner and had a great meal! There was no wait to be seated at a regular table and our food came very quickly. Some of it even arrived on a robot!
We got edamame and gyoza for starters and some sushi as well. The volcano roll and spicy salmon roll were great classics. Just the right about or spicy to them. The presentation of the sashimi was neat, though my partner said the cuts were almost too cold to eat on all that ice. Still delicious though!
The atmosphere in the back area was bright and lively featuring a large stand in the corner with large screens wrapping around. There is a full bar as well. The hibachi tables were quiet enough in their own space so we could talk normally as well.
I can’t wait to go back and try some other things on the menu like that fire Takumi roll and some hibachi!

We came with a large group of teens to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The place was packed during dinner hour and so we did have to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time, so be prepared if you’re with a larger group. We were seated with Tony as our hibachi chef and he was hands down the most entertaining, making the experience a special one for my daughter and her friends, everyone agreed he was the best! The food was delicious and very well prepared and it was fun to watch him make it. Thank you Tony!!! I really think he needs to be made head chef and teach the other guys how to do it right, because we noticed ours was by far the most entertaining. Give Tony a promotion!!

We had my son’s 13th birthday party at Takumi Hibachi and it was absolutely incredible! This is hands down the best hibachi in Franklin and our new go-to spot for birthday celebrations. The food was outstanding; the fried rice, steak, and scallops were all cooked to perfection. They even have options like chicken nuggets and fries for the more picky eaters, so every kid in our group found something they loved. The atmosphere was amazing and so entertaining with the singing robot and balloons on sticks that made the celebration even more magical.
The staff made this experience unforgettable! Tom, our server, was fantastic and took exceptional care of our entire party throughout the evening. The chef was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday celebration truly special and memorable. The entire team’s enthusiasm and attention to detail was remarkable.

From the moment we walked in, this restaurant delivered a 10 out of 10 experience. The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, and the host staff was incredibly helpful and prompt. As soon as our entire party arrived, we were seated right away. The space was clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained.
We came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and were seated at the Hibachi grill with another lovely family who also had a birthday to celebrate. It made for a fun and lively atmosphere—almost like a shared celebration!
Our Hibachi chef was not only skilled but also very friendly and entertaining. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We started with edamame, and then I had the filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. The meal also came with soup and salad. The seasoning on both the steak and shrimp was phenomenal—easily a 10/10. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh.
My mom ordered the Chilean sea bass and filet mignon, also with fried rice, salad, and soup. She was blown away by the sea bass—it was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
One of the most unique and fun parts of the night was the robot servers! They delivered our appetizers, drinks, and even sang “Happy Birthday” while bringing out the cake. It was such a cool and futuristic touch, especially handy when the staff is busy.
What really stood out to me was the level of cleanliness. After each party, a dedicated crew came through to remove all the chairs, sweep, mop, scrub the grills, and sanitize the area thoroughly. It was spotless, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience—fun, delicious, clean, and perfect for special occasions. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to celebrate a birthday or just enjoy a fantastic meal with family.

Unfortunately, we weren’t very impressed. They had good reviews and the pics looked appetizing but our selections didn’t stand out. They didn’t have a fresh flavor and seemed to below average. The presentations were decent except for the Spicey Scallop Roll was falling apart even before it was delivered to the table. The Spicy Mayo overpowered the Scallops which proved to be a poor option for us. We gave it a try, but won’t be back.

My family and I came to eat for my brothers 21st birthday, and it was the best experience I have ever had here. Tony was our chef and he was absolutely amazing. He was so funny and interactive and we were laughing the whole time. He cracked jokes, remembered our names, and seemed to genuinely love his job. The food was also incredible but the best part of the night was having Tony as our chef.

The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and stunning—very luxurious! The food was up to par, and I especially loved the Crunch Munch sushi. The chicken katsu was a solid 10/10, perfectly done. The gyoza I’d rate 8/10, only because I personally prefer a different cooking style than the oil-fried version. The Japanese soda (Ramune) was a fun touch—it came in a 6.7 fl.oz bottle, which felt a little small for a ‘large.’ I would have appreciated a little help opening it or having it poured into a cup since the bottle can be tricky. I also loved the little robot going back and forth—it was so cute and added to the fun atmosphere! Pricing is nice and fair for such amazing food. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back!
